"I understand," Dawn interjected. "But two of my closest male friends love that scent. How much for both bottles?"

The woman turned to the man and raised an eyebrow. "Deux cents, chacun," he replied. ["Two hundred, each"]

"How much?" Dawn asked the woman, her eyes wide.

At this point, John spoke up. "Cent vingt, chacun." ["One hundred twenty, each"]

The man's eyes widened in surprise. "Cent soixant-dix." ["One hundred seventy"]

"Cent cinquante, chacun." ["One hundred fifty, each"]

"Bon!" The man smiled and agreed with a trace of a French accent, "One hundred fifty, each, as bargained by your wise companion."

Dawn pulled out her platinum VISA card to pay the total of $325. With broad smiles all around as the purchase was approved, Yves, the Frenchman, gave both Dawn and John double cheek air kisses and thanked them for their business. Millie, Yves' companion, likewise thanked the two and made sure Dawn had her business card.

With the cologne in her hands, Dawn practically skipped back to her car, pulling John along. She had what she came to the festival to get. John held her door open for her to get seated then dashed around to get in the other side. Before she started up the car, John paused Dawn's hand on the key.

"Dawn, I saw the credit card you used. How do you, as a college student, have one of those?"

"John, I will tell you more about myself and my family over lunch. Do you have any ideas for lunch?"

"Actually, I do. How about Subway for sandwiches and drinks and then out to the county park west of school for a picnic lunch and to talk?"

"I like the way you think."

They got their lunch and found the park without issue. Dawn led them to the far side of a thick-trunked tree where they could sit in the shade and enjoy the pleasant breeze.

First taking a bite, then a long drink, Dawn began.

"John, as you noticed earlier, I have a platinum VISA card. The truth is that my family's financial situation allows my parents and me to have the card. They will probably question this purchase but in the end, they'll pay off my credit card bill. For me to buy those two bottles of cologne was a pleasure. One of them is for Tom because Julie loves it on him and the other is for you."

"For me?" John swallowed nervously.

"Well, yeah. I love this cologne on you. And I loved the way you leaped into the fray and negotiated them down a bit, although I think I could have gotten them down further."

"You knew what they were saying?"

"Yes, John. I, too, am conversant in French and Spanish as well. I'm studying to be a Foreign Languages teacher at the high school level."

"Then why didn't you say anything?"

"Because you were doing so very well on my behalf. It showed that you cared, and you wanted to contribute something. Something more than simply how good your big cock feels in my wet kitty. And she's soaking wet right now."

"I think we should save that for some time when we are less conspicuous, eh?"

"I guess so."

John tried to redirect her focus.

"I've heard it said that sex is much like air and money: it tends to consume your attention and energy when you don't have much or any. Well, that's kinda my story, too. My parents are both intellectually smart, but they seem to have made numerous poor decisions over the years. They are always struggling near the end of the month. That's one reason I'm studying Finance at school.

"Have you ever heard the phrase: 'give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day; teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime'? Well, I want to help Mom and Dad and probably many others learn to fish with their money."

"So, you're just after my body, not my money?" Dawn grinned evilly.

"Well ... I would not have put it that way. You're really pretty, you know that, right? I could not believe Tom set me up with you. I'm grateful he did."

"So am I, John. You look pretty good now in the jeans and pullover and wearing the contacts. But I could not see that through your secret disguise. Please don't go back to that."

"You know I'm the same guy, right? Like Clark Kent and Superman?"

"You are and you're not. Last night, I was just after your body. But you showed me your caring side as well. You had a bit of confidence last night and a whole heap of it today. That really gets my motor running," she revealed. "I'm so grateful to Tom and Julie for getting us together."

"That's good to know. Nice feedback. Thank you for that. Now here's some for you: you try to hide it, but you're actually smart. I mean, you speak both French and Spanish? Now that gets my motor running. Now would you please elaborate on how you've come to have a platinum VISA card?"

"Have you ever seen the old television show, 'The Beverly Hillbillies'? Well, my folks are a lot like the Clampetts; they just never gave in to family pressure and moved away. Our land is mineral-rich and has a big pocket of natural gas. Granddaddy Taggart could seem as dumb as a stump, but he was slyer than a fox. He negotiated from a position of power and the family is all set, financially, for many lifetimes. Please don't let my family's financial position influence your opinion of me, John. I'm just Dawn Taggart, a wench who is horny for you." She licked her lips, suggestively.

They sat there just grinning at each other. Then something over John's shoulder caught her attention. She got a mischievous look on her face, stood, and pulled him to his feet.

"C'mon, I'll race you to the swings," she challenged. He let her win the race. At least, that's what he told himself. They played on the playground as though they were ten years old, teasing each other, smiles never dimming. Eventually, they returned, hand in hand, to their picnic spot and then back to her car.

"So, what now?" John inquired.

"I have a fun idea. First, let's go back to our dorms and get clothes for an evening out as well as tomorrow."

They greeted each other with a lingering kiss at her doorway. Dawn called out over her shoulder, "Jules, the room is yours if you want it tonight. We're outta here!", and she walked with John to her car. Placing their duffle bags in the trunk, she handed the keys to him, saying, "Go ahead, John. I trust you with my baby." Surprised, he had to scurry around to hold the passenger door open for her. He insisted on a kiss from her before he started the car.

"Where to, my lady?" he inquired as he started the engine.

"The Ritz-Carlton hotel, my good man. Drive on!" John just quietly gulped and obeyed her command. When he wheeled up to the covered entrance of the hotel, a pair of valets hurried to either side of the car. John gave Dawn a questioning look, but she just nodded her head and gestured for him to give the keys to the valet holding his door. He hit the remote trunk release and exited the car while a third person emerged to retrieve their light baggage.

She registered them as Mr. and Mrs. Taggart, whipping out the VISA card once again. John did relieve the porter of their bags, muttering softly that it was the least he could do for his wife. She distracted him so completely while in the elevator that they missed their floor twice before breaking apart long enough to exit the elevator.

Dawn tugged at John as they hurried to their door. She distracted him once again by blowing in his ear as he tried the keycard a couple of times in the door. Finally, he got the green light and the audible click and chirp, and they rushed into the room, slamming the door.

"I know I said to bring dress clothes for an evening out, but now all I want to do is stay here in this nice, soft, big bed with you," Dawn informed him.

"As you wish," he answered, channeling his inner Westley.

They proceeded to quickly divest each other of their clothing. Once naked, they were at each other as if they were starving.

They eventually needed to replenish their bodies with food and drink, so room service was contacted. With a groan at the knock at the door about 20 minutes later, John got up and put on one of the nice, fluffy bathrobes. Being sure Dawn was covered up, he opened the door and gratefully accepted the large tray with two covered dishes and two tall bottles of Evian. Turning back to the delivery person, John gave them a $10 tip on the $40 meal by scrawling his "J Taggart" on the receipt.

Dawn and John returned to the campus shortly after noon on Sunday. Lingering kisses kept them from going their separate ways.

Eventually, John mustered the strength to part company with Dawn.

"I've got to get some classwork done before tomorrow morning, Dawn," he stated. "You are such a total distraction for me. I've got to leave now to have any hope of getting it done in time. How about we meet for supper tomorrow after my shift in the lab?"

"I'll be waiting for your call, Big John." She kissed her fingertips and blew the kiss at him. With a smile, he snatched it from the air and placed his palm on his lips.

It started somewhat slowly, first with waves to each other, then quick hugs, then unabashed handholding. John Wilson and Dawn Taggart became an "item" on campus to the great surprise of many of the people who knew them.

Dawn's mother had drawn the short straw to speak with Dawn about her atypical charges from October 2 and 3.

"Darlin', what did you buy back near the first of the month from 'Scents of the World'?" her mother inquired. "And why a night in a rather fancy hotel?"

"Mamma, yes, I bought two bottles of cologne for Julie's boyfriend and mine, and yes, we did have a night in a hotel. You know how narrow those dorm beds are. Those kinds of charges won't happen again, I promise."

"Dawn Michelle Louise Taggart! You've been layin' abed with a boy?! At least, I hope it was a boy."

"Oh, yeah, Mamma, it was definitely a boy. A nice, big boy, too. I met a guy here and we had a really special weekend together. I think this could be the start of something very special."

"Are you bringin' him home to meet us anytime soon?"

"I wanna. Lemme check with John about when. Maybe Halloween, just for the weekend. Would you please just pay the bill and let the questions be until you can meet him?"

"Well, alright, seein' as how you asked so nicely and all. Do keep us informed if y'all're comin' that weekend. Your brother's got a home game that Saturday. Might be nice if y'all'd go and cheer him on."

"I'll ask John the next time I see him, which should be in ..." Dawn looked at her phone for the time. "In about fifteen minutes when his shift in the accounting lab finishes."

"Oh, this college boy actually works? He's soundin' better by the minute."

"Mamma, just leave it be, please. I'll let you know by Monday, okay?"

"Alright, darlin'. Do take care and remember to take your birth control. I don' wanna be a grandma quite yet," her mother said with an audible smile.

"Yes, Mamma. I'll be sure to keep taking my pills. I love you and Daddy. I've gotta go now, Mamma."

"Okay, sweet pea. Be good. Bye."

Dawn went to go meet John outside the building where the accounting lab was. Surprising him just as he was leaving the building, she bounced up to him with a squeal and pulled him into a passionate kiss. John immediately flushed with embarrassment at the public display of affection by Dawn. A few others turned to watch as they walked past the pair.

Stunned, he just stood there, accepting everything Dawn was willing to give him. Then he began to kiss her in return. For the next minute, the universe seemed to disappear; they wanted to be nowhere else.

"We should get something to eat and talk a little," Dawn suggested, and John nodded weakly. She took him by the hand and led him to her dorm's cafeteria. Somewhere during their journey, he came to his senses and he pulled her against him as they walked. His right leg was in perfect sync with her left as if they were doing a three‑legged race at a church picnic.

Sitting down with their food, John dug right in while Dawn paused to formulate what she wanted to say. Twice she started to say something but stopped herself.

"Just say what's on your mind, Dawn," John mumbled through a mouthful of corn.

"My Mamma called today asking about the credit card bill. Everything's okay, but now she wants to meet you. Would you please come home with me next weekend to meet my family?"

"You really want them to meet me?" At her nod, he continued. "All right, let's do it. I'd do just about anything legal and moral for you. I don't have to work in the lab that Friday, so I'm free after 2:00 PM."

"What about your folks, John? When are you planning to see them next?"

"I usually don't go home during the semester; the bus takes too long."

"I'll tell Mamma we're coming."

Friday, October 30, 2020

John's stomach was fluttering as though full of butterflies. It was 2:20 in the afternoon and his duffel bag was at his feet as he stood outside the designated door. He thought back to Dawn's words of the week prior and checked to be sure he had two condoms in his jeans pocket and the rest of the box in his bag. Meeting the girlfriend's parents was a big thing for most guys, and John was a bit nervous. It would help that it was a three‑hour drive from school to her home in the southeast corner of the state.

He saw her pull into the parking lot. He picked up his bag and trotted to the passenger side. It was a gorgeous autumn afternoon and she had the top down.

"Just put it on the floor behind your seat, John. Be sure to buckle up 'cause we won't be on the interstate very long," Dawn advised him. "But first, you must pay the toll."

He chuckled at that. He got in the car and was practically attacked. Figuring the best defense was a good offense, he gave as good as he got and pawed at her a bit for good measure. "I like paying your toll," he laughed. Dawn paused for a moment to catch her breath. John had never been quite so forward with her and she liked this change in him.

Dawn quickly got them on their way. John saw parts of the state on their route that he never would have otherwise.

After a couple of hours, Dawn pulled into a picnic area just off the road. Out of sight from the road, she parked the car and turned the car off. John was a bit confused as she unbuckled her seatbelt and got out, gesturing for him to remain where he was. She walked around and opened his door. He unbuckled his seatbelt but her hand on his chest pushed him back against the seat. With her other hand, she released the seat back and he fell backward.

"Wha-," he started to say, but she removed her panties, clambered onto his lap, and fastened her mouth on his.

"I have no idea what the sleeping arrangements will be since I've never brought a guy home for the night before. This may be our last chance until Sunday. I need you to fuck me, Big John, now!"

"Hang on, Dawn. Let me rubber up so we can contain the mess." He got a condom out of a pocket and then wiggled his jeans and briefs down to his ankles. She quickly applied the prophylactic and inserted his cock into her. Then she went at it, slowly at first but quickly accelerating her pace. John got his hands under her t‑shirt and slipped the bra cups above her breasts. His thumbing of her nipples along with her strokes on his cock made their coupling noisy and brief.

Dawn lay her head on John's chest as she caught her breath. She loved to hear the beating of his heart. She sniffed and sat up, puzzled.

"John, why aren't you wearing your cologne?" she inquired.

"What cologne?"

"The 'Business Man' that I bought for you and Tom."

"You never gave it to me."

Aghast, she brought her hands to her cheeks, then burst into a smile. "That's right. I didn't. I guess we ought to fix that deplorable situation, don't you think?" She reached into the center console under the armrest and pulled out the oddly shaped bottle along with a handful of napkins. Handing him the bottle, she unplugged herself and wiped as best she could. Grasping the condom‑clad penis, she removed the condom and dropped her head to finish cleaning him off with her mouth. While she disposed of the napkins and condom, he pulled his underwear and jeans back up. She put her panties back on and John raised the seat back before resuming their journey.

An hour later, they pulled up to a single‑level house on a small hill. The driveway was crushed rock and circled a small fountain. Before they got out, Dawn stopped John with her hand on his chest once again.

"Please use a single spray of the cologne on your chest, John. I want you to make the best impression possible on Mamma." Complying, he pulled the neck of his polo shirt away and gave a single spritz of the cologne. Replacing the cap, he placed the bottle safely inside his duffel bag. As he stood, Dawn wrapped him up in her arms and breathed him in.

"As much as I love this scent, John, it's nothing compared to how I feel about you," she informed him.

"I have a lot to say about how I feel as well, Dawn. Let's hold it until we head back to school on Sunday, okay?"

Her answer came in the form of a brief (for her) kiss on his lips. He exhaled heavily as a collie came bounding and barking from around the house to greet them.

"Gypsy!" Dawn nearly squealed in her delight. She dropped to her haunches and received a loving face licking in return as the dog was equally glad to see Dawn. "Yes, I missed you too, girl. John, give me your hand, please. Gypsy, this is John. John, this is Gypsy Rose Lee." The dog gave John a tentative sniff, then licked his palm and gave a typical collie bark.

Gypsy led the way as the three entered the house. "Mamma, we're here," Dawn called as Gypsy trotted off, having protected the borders of her home.

A beautiful woman emerged from a doorway. Dawn rushed up to embrace her mother while John stood feeling a little awkward.

Abbreviating the greeting of her daughter, Dawn's mother noticed John and smiled a megawatt smile. "Welcome! You're John, right?"

"Yes, ma'am, I'm John Wilson."

"Come to Mamma, John," Mrs. Taggart said, arms spread to welcome him with a hug. "You jus' call me Mamma T, okay?" She pulled him into an embrace and the pheromones from his cologne did their magic on her. Her head came to just below his chin, like Dawn, and she got a good whiff of his 'Business Man' cologne. John couldn't see it, but Dawn did see her mother's eyes roll up as she breathed in deeply. Dawn just smiled and thought, 'I just love it when a plan comes together.'

Emily Taggart had no idea what had hit her, only that something had happened. Her eyelids fluttered and she breathed in deeply once more. A beatific smile seemed plastered on her face as she summoned the wherewithal to push herself away from John. Then her face flushed with embarrassment and she spun on her heel and quickly returned to the kitchen.

Dawn shut the front door and led John into the large common room. A big stone fireplace was the focal point of the room. On either side of the stone fireplace were mounted deer heads with large antlers on each one.

"Yer Daddy's not home yet, Sweet Pea. He's fetchin' yer brother from Old Man Patterson's farm. Junior is workin' 'til 9:00, and the twins are downstairs. I heard Gypsy greetin' you."

They both turned to see Mamma T in the doorway once more, apron removed. John just stood there and stared. 'I sure hope that adage is true,' he thought.

"Mamma, we need to put our stuff up. What're the sleeping arrangements?" Dawn asked.

"Girl, your Daddy and I know you two are already keepin' company. You'll both be downstairs in your bedroom. Jus' keep things to a dull roar so as not to disturb your sisters or the two of us." Her smile took away any sting her words might have had.
