I have turned away four publishers and a whole LOT of money. I don't want to publish. Writing, though a noble calling, is not MY calling. I'm devoted to my charity and will be for the rest of my days on this earth. Publishing would greatly diminish my time for that, and I won't let that happen. Too many people depend on me.

Publishing would also cause me to have to take down my three blogs, (which are not income-producing) and any real publisher would also make me stop posting to Lit. I'm not doing any of that.

"Take out the sex?" "Less graphic?" Are you kidding? How do I remove sex from REAL sexual events about which I write?!?! Some of my posts are fiction and are labeled as such, but not many.

Readers who like my writing like it the way it is. I write what's in my heart and mind, feeling very lucky there are those who want to read it. I will never sell out and change my style, screwing over those who like my stuff the way it is for the sake of being "published!"
