Why would xana need his permission or sig. To do whatever he wants? I mean, he's kinda Forced to do whatever he wants in order to survive since he's dependent on Seth etc. I think it's sweet that xana tried to get him into school. I think kyle is so damn adorable! And I'm surprised xana would choose marn to try to get help making his bearer's life better. He has no respect for his bearer and let his son have him. I feel like he wouldn't be the guy for xana to align himself with for this new project but we'll see. What an interesting point that these xenos grew up not knowing their bearer when xana has drawn a pic including rio. Does he want rio to play mom or just be an egg pouch? Are their others like xana ? Must be others if there has been a program created based on this idea.. that said is xana set on keeping rio around bc he likes him or bc of the project tasha dreamt of? Loving the story

As for the program, I assume that’s what Riordan signed his DNA to? I wonder if the program is actually Xana’s idea. This species has visited a lot of planets, and I’m curious if having 2+ mature beings raise each young is something universal. Like, this species might consider doing it to “fit in” with other species.

I bet Xana will “homeschool” Rio since he couldn’t get permission for his bearer to officially go to school. :0) If power is what drives this culture, Marn may see Xana’s actions to change how things are done as a threat to his position.
