I have been thinking about this story since I found it a few weeks ago, and checked back today, just to check and delighted AF to find an update which I immediately read. This was my second-favorite scene after the Seneca/Godwin one, but I also think the hottest to date. I'm really glad to find Josh okay and love they brought him into their play. my favorite line of the whole chapter was "She shivered, both afraid of what Godwin meant, and also longing for it with every fiber of her being." Same. Seneca. Same.
