She had her arms around Sunny's legs in a way that her fingertips rested on each side of the opening and she used them to pull her open.

Eventually she gave in. Lowered her hips so Sunny had full access, while sucking her clit inside. Using the tongue to lap at the point and sucking in and out so the whole thing rode on the edge of her teeth.

They came simultaneously and shook so hard the bed rattled.

Afterwards Bryn slipped the right way around, and they let their arms and legs weave into each other and held their bodies so close it was as if they were one.

--

Late the next morning there was brunch for the remaining guests, and then the villagers left.

Everyone else started - slowly - on the day's work.

Sunny and Bryn tried to tidy up a bit. Folded the tables and chairs and stacked them for later transport back to the mainland.

No one did much work, but after such a night no one expected them to.

--

The following weeks saw the Navers and the clearance people finish their jobs.

The windows arrived and were put in, and the roof was finished.

The Navers even built them a nice wood framed greenhouse opposite the barn, as a surprise gift for them.

Bryn continued to oversee everything as Sunny did her research and bonded with the archaeologists.

One day, when Bryn was in for lunch Sunny called her: "Come here, Bryn. I have received some vital information!" Sunny was staring at her portable computer with a big smile.

"Okay. More skeletons then?"

"No, but information on the ones we already have. I wrote to a text scholar. A Professor at "Bibliotheca Alexandrina". The modern library of Alexandra!"

"Oh yes?" Bryn tried to look interested.

"Well, it's about, or rather from Jordanes!"

"Right. Who's he when he is at home then?"

"Not much known about him, but he did write a lot of stuff. Lived around 500 AD, and is best known for two monumental works on "Rome" and "Getica" about the Goths."

"So, what has he to do with our island then?"

"Well. It turns out he travelled a lot and left a lot of letters and diaries, and - ta dah - here's a piece that describes a holy island with a temple, an oracle and virgins in attendance."

"Could be anywhere. What makes you think it is our island then?"

Well, he not only mentions the island and temple is dedicated to Athena, but that there actually is a virgin named Athena on the island. I bet you it is our Athena!"

"Now I am impressed. Sounds correct. Anything else?"

"Yes, yes and yes! He lists the names of the virgins at the time, he came by. In no particular order: Athena, Oriana, Letitia, Aurora, Amara, Drusilla and Lucia. He also describes the virgins. Not in any detail, but enough for us. Our "L" could be Letitia or Lucia, but as he describes Lucia being very small and fragile, he describes Letitia as being tall. So, again: I bet our "L" is Letitia. How she ended up beheaded in a cellar and Athena on top of the cliff eludes me, but it was at a time when The Roman Empire was collapsing. So, robbers, pirates take your pick."

"I get the point. Well done, Sherlock, and another reason for us to lay the two skeletons in the same box and bury them together.

- and so, they did. Carefully placing the two skeletons beside each other in the right order in an aluminium box, and after some discussion also laying the two rings down with them. Sunny rightfully noted that she had taken enough samples and pictures of both skeletons and rings to let them have peace in a grave together.

The following week Sunny made a clearing, planted a privet hedge in a square and dug the necessary graves for their 'finds'.
Nea and the sacrificed girl had professionally made stones. Nea's with just the name Sunny had given her cut into a granite boulder. The sacrificed girl with a copy of the painting from the cave of the woman flying up to the sun symbol. Also engraved but in a smoothened surface of a nice, round boulder..

Sunny selected one large boulder from the supply the pier builders had freighted in, and placed it over Athena and Letitia's grave.

She tried her artistic skills with a pneumatic chisel to engrave their names in the stone. A simple 'longhand' engraving. Above the names on the stone, she did her best to copy the way the two letters "A" and "L" had been intertwined on the rings.

A nice story where there's very few and scarce sex scenes but I really enjoy it.
