In spite of some flaws, especially when it comes to editing, this is a superb romantic drama, with compelling characters and a plot that is carefully worked out, and never paced either too quickly or too slowly. The love scenes are wonderfully descriptive but at the same time very tastefully done, and wholly in keeping with the romantic atmosphere and theme of the overall story. This story is a joy to read, and the author is to be congratulated for what seems to be his best story yet.
