This chapter gave me chills. I needed a box of tissues to get through it. I can't believe Vico would hurt Shiloh like that. He seems like such a horrible person. He's so mean to her. For him to rape her a second time is heartbreaking.

As a writer, you definitely have the ability to draw the reader into Shiloh's emotions. My heart bleeds for her. She deserves so much better.
