All Comments on 'The Melting of the Ice Queen'

I could so easily run out of superlatives for this one, Pixie, there is so much to like and smile at. Almost a touch of the Ozymandias ("...look on me and despair..."). Then there's the smoking French cigarettes through a holder (Pretentious? Moi?)---must have lungs like iron. You "...were Simone de Beauvoir..." (but who was Sartre?). I could go on and on. Suffice to say an excellent piece of work, a far cry from your usual offerings. I thought An Amazon's Lament was your best to date but this is well in the running.

You got my attention with 'Australian.' Annie's dialogue is spot on, I can almost hear her voice from between the lines. Pixie gets to actually hear the voice, has a seat, realises that the hot nurse has made her knickers wet and sticky.

If I may humbly make a suggestion, you should make Annie a sometimes recurring character for stories where someone has to go to A&E. I'm sure your readers won't mind!
