The suspense has long since drained out of this plot. I don’t care about any of the three principal characters. In fact I have unbounded contempt for all of them. Maya continuing to have a relationship with Andy is completely implausible. Why would she waste her time with him if he leaves her so unfulfilled. What does it say about her that she just strings him along?
