I usually can read dominant bitch characters without getting pissed off. Reading Vanessa got me angry. (Maybe because I share the first name with the MC). I am also not sure when you telegraphed the twist. It was perhaps around the time she was telling him he would have to stand by the bed all night. Its been a rough September in LW and you hit this one out of the park. It was original, well written and compelling. Thank you.

They say that a surprise twist will leave the reader either happy or annoyed, and this one had a great one. My only suggestion might be to move the mention of Vanessa's teasing reputation until after her husband snapped, and took his rightful place, if you could re-work it without spoiling her sexual office tease plotline.

I found myself annoyed with Vanessa, for her unfeeling way in dealing with what could very well be a serious condition. But I also found that I could not stop reading this story. The narratives, the realistic details kept me there, and envisioning.

I've been told that if an Author can keep a reader reading until the end on a subject he hates, or has grown to hate, then the Author has been successful. This, however, was brilliant. Well done, and thank you for allowing me to glimpse into a world I am uncomfortable with, and come out satisfied!
