This is a different version of the story, does that mean it will have an alternate ending of the original ?

It's funny you mention the ending, because part of my inspiration to write this was how depressing the ending the original was. I hated it, I hated the Prince, I wanted to slap the Princess, although the Duke was no prize. He's not really a prize in this one either.

There are happy endings, not for everyone, but let's say the Princess does better than life in a nunnery. ;)
