All Comments on 'The Secret of the Old Cock Ch. 03'

I'm reading this all in one sitting .. enjoying it so far. I have to laugh at the dialog, though. I don't know if they spoke like this in the 1920's and 30's but I swear I can hear Amy Farrah Fowler (Big Bang Theory) speaking as Mary. I'm looking forward to the rest of the tale.

I have watched a few episodes of the Big Bang Theory. I'll have to watch a few more to place this actress/character you speak of now, out of curiosity. That show is a bit cringy for me because I *was* those guys, Asperger's, hard science degree and all, and to a certain extent I still am.

Weird mascots are always the best. UC Santa Cruz in my hometown has the banana slugs. Let me guess: the homecoming dances at your university were called the Fighting Blue Balls?
