Really awkward narrative early on - choppy is best way to explain it. There was little to no explanation as to what was going on in their marriage and why. Would have made more sense and been more interesting if he and Kristy established a loving relationship, got married, had kids while Lisa's life cratered. All I'm left with at the end of this story is WTF? 3*
