Why do you/authors do this? You leave a story hanging

and then start another one without finishing a series that most definitely is a cliff hanger. I won't read any more of your stories now because I don't know if your going to finish them. And it is rude of you to do that to us readers. You want us to give you our time which we are willing to do. And hopefully we enjoy our time reading your story like you enjoy writing it. However you are being selfish and depreciative to us (your readers) by not finishing. That is not right sir.
