Transformations may not be complete. It's not clear that fire can kill vampires. If that assumption is correct, then Erik is dead, but Aiden is alive because she received blood from him. The hunter, Alex, is fond of Aiden, but his job is to do in vampires. However, I believe Alex's fondness for Aiden will keep her alive. To make this a genuine romance, Alex and Aiden will become a couple and live happily ever after.
