This was very refreshing to read.

A couple who are serious in the issue of fidelity.

Yes, communication is important in marriage.

Temptation always abounds for both spouses.

Communication between them is effective in disabling all temptation.

Good one laptopwriter. Thanks

This is real world. Actually had this type of conversation with my wife in our fourth year. We were both working to mich and not communicating enough. Well 35 years later we are still in love and have been so every day. No need for someone else. 5*

5 stars. However, after I knocked on the car window, I would tell the wife, to "sit still, keep your mouth shut, no screaming, until I come back for you" Then, I'd be waiting outside the motel office and hit the fucker that was going to fuck my wife so hard, his nuts would fall off. Kick him on the ground until I was sure he was ruptured before I stopped. No Mercy for the wife stealer. Yup, that would be a mild version of my reaction. There have been worse. Great writine, Great Story, Great surprise, and a Happy Ending. Thanks, Buster2U

O.K., Buster2U is hacking my brain. That's almost exactly what I would have done. And screw the counseling. How many months// I'm sorry, you've still got a pair. walk, don't run out of the relationship. Other than that, excellent story. The Bear approves. 5 stars.

No this was not more believable than others like it i have read sure he didn't accuse but he did threaten sorry but most men isn't going to have a talk like that with there wife if the situation doesn't partake him and his wife marriage it happened to someone else so that talk between husband and wife was utterly pointless next time you wanna write a story like this about what the husband would say in a situation that has nothing to do with him and his wife try asking a few different guys before writing about it as far as someone talking to there husband or wife about wanting to fuck someone who is not there spouse yes a few is actually stupid enough to ask and expect it to be ok but most rather it be the husband or the wife isnt if there going to cheat in anyway rather physical or the worst affair of them all emotional there just going to do it not try and ask permission

Redundant. Isn't this talk is what one has before you get married? Don't you discuss exclusivity when you get engaged or going steady?

Are consequences pre-nup or post-nup? Are hook-ups, affairs or dating that easy like springbreak fun?

PhoenixLore1981PhoenixLore19816 months ago

Something else I forgot to say for my thoughts on this story all his talk did was put his wife walking on egg shells around him she's going to be thinking every time he has bad day or if we argue he's going to say who are you fucking blah blah his talk killed his marriage cause it was a entirely stupid thing to do someone else's wife was a slut and cheated on her husband for months and he wants to talk to his wife about cheating like it has something to do with him and his wife yeah that states no trust like I said that marriage is doomed now the epilogue of the story as I sit looking at the divorce papers and hearing Tina say I'm divorcing you cause you don't trust me all I can do is think me and my stupid mouth

Poor Bea. She did something stupid and selfish, which she knew she shouldn't, and risked her marriage then was shattered when the gamble failed. My heart bleeds for her. NOT! What's that saying? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes? Yeah, looks like she won big time there. I would say let that be a lesson to you, but let's be real, if someone is going to cheat, they're going to cheat; it's just a consequence of their core personality. Good people that have strong convictions with regards to fidelity and loyalty won't cheat - ever; others will selfishly (often after some mental gymnastics that concludes with something along the lines of "I deserve this") or will fall victim to temptation at some point (predator/seducer or friend filling head with nonsense over time), or perhaps foolishly put themselves in a position that allows themselves to fall, such as getting too drunk then having a "one time slip". That's just how it is sadly. I've yet to observe anything to the contrary.

To me it was just slightly odd

Good story about communication. Poor Bea FAFO, no sympathy at all.

Nice version. Always good to read about fidelity and a secure, loving marriage. And the writing was pretty much flawless, as usual. Five stars from me, even with the absence of a crisis between the MCs.

Sometimes you get a timely lesson in the old adage that "You dont know what you've got til its gone". I enjoyed this succinct, well written tale reminding us all that acts have consequences, and we all have free will to make decisions both good and bad. And, there is nothing more valuable than a strong marital relationship.....

Tina blows off any possibility of her cheating, but sort of excuses Bea because "she was in a bad place," and "was taken advantage of." So Tina could NEVER be in a bad place and get taken advantage of.

AnonymousAnonymous2 months ago

Not sure I am at all comfortable with the way Bea was trying to excuse Tina and her affair. One does not get so easily seduced. Unless u want to. Tina wanted some strange …so took it. If she truly loved her hubby…his hurt if she had an affair would have kept her away from it. Neither did she love her hubby nor did she not want to try strange cock! Good result…! But that leave the MC the need to question his wife’s beliefs..where she was willing to excuse her friends affair!

Very good. Thank you.

Nice attempt but you fail to understand that cheating is felt differently by men than by women, and you also have him all feeling secure in his wife's fidelity simply because of her threats upon his life should he stray. The reality is alot of people in this world are hypocrites and have rules for others that they simply don't feel or think applies to themselves, I also believe that the majority of people with these sentiments are women and growing in number. So having her threaten him with the consequences should he stray, in no way means she feels she should suffer any consequences should she stray, because we all know which gender is rarely made to be accountable and face the consequences of their actions don't we?
