I like the story, but the glue being water soluble is a weak point. The saliva in their mouths would have broken it down and the story wouldn't work. It is a better theory of the story if semen was the needed ingredient.

Good story, although it was hard to feel much sympathy for Barry.

When he saw who his wife had befriended, he should have thrown a drink in Becca's face. That cruel bitch was a sadistic monster, who set him up to be humiliated after he'd helped her in school. Reese was fat and out of shape, so if he started anything, it would have given Barry the excuse to give him the beating he deserved.

Befriending those two was beyond idiotic and Barry basically threw Lisa to the wolves. Becca said that Reese spent months trying to seducing Lisa.... and she only succumbed when they drugged her with ecstasy and basically raped her. If Barry wasn't such a naive dumbass, he'd still be happily married to a beautiful, doting wife.

sbrooks: the poor kid that inspired Barry was called Shampoo or Shamp the Champ by teachers. I hope it's changed now. You got me on the 'didn't help' - oops. I'll have to agree to disagree with the rest. Can't a woman be in love with two guys, and tell one what she thinks he wants to hear? Did Reese seem like the type to just accept fault after being horribly humiliated? I also thought going through humiliating physical pain and then emotional would be enough for a woman to do quite a bit of crying. Noodle lost his wife and was STILL stuck with his nick name. His wife lost her job, her marriage and her self respect. Lisa lost her marriage and self respect. Probably most of her friends too. Hotprof1973, I giving this torrid tale max stars as I've read nothing quite like this before. Right off the bat, the story could've used a bit more polish to make it truly solid and even shut a few assholes up, particularly that dipshit who threatened to call you a cuckold if you put out another similar story. Bet you shook & cried like a little girl with a skinned knee when you read that one. I'm a writer and I believe everything mentioned in any story needs a catalyst (see what I did there?) justifying why it's mentioned at all. you did well and a little more detail would've elevated it even more. For example, more detail about how Barry was such a good natured dude that he couldn't, not wouldn't, see this coming (no pun intended). Also, I would've mentioned in the narrative that part of perfecting the formula was to make sure it lasted long enough to humiliate them & get the papers signed, but added it AFTER the blow job, oh, and my version would've definitely detailed Reese having to swallow Barry's nut to make it work while, figuratively, rubbing his face in the poetic justice. Now, I disagree with the choice not telling Becca, and in fact, I think her true attitude toward Barry would change right there & then. As she let the news sink in, she might think she shared in the revenge against her piece of shit hubby, especially after blaming her for instigating the whole goddamn thing. I'm not nitpicking, just observations from one author to another. Who said revenge had to be lethal? All it needs to be is enough and this was. Reese would've lost his job, but not by Barry's hand. No, Reeses dad would want to keep the stink of scandal off of him so he'd sabotage his own son, exposing him as the shitbag he is. Now would hurt him

While I'm a writer, I've never been able to come up with a good Halloween story. I enjoy the ones here, which are usually about inventive payback during cheating, like this one, when they're not about the betrayed husband haunting the cheaters.

The only genuine issue with this cleverly entertaining story - and, as little as it is, it's still a big one, in my book - is Barry even thinking about eventually having that 'final talk' with Lisa.

To be blunt: fuck that shit.

The slut FUBARed her marriage, for no goddamn reason, and even had the gall to genuinely fall in love with the backstabbing fuckhead that only wanted to use her to hurt her husband; but, now that she lost everything, and is now essentially a joke and a loser, NOW she's asking for 'closure'... for whom, exactly? Why does Barry get at having any type of conversation with Lisa? She, for sure, will unburdened herself from her guilt over her actions, giving up some hollow apologizes as needed... But Barry? Does he needs to know the play-by-play as to why the woman he cherishes above all became the more-than-willing fucktoy to his arch-nemesis?

Screw that. There's absolutely no upside FOR HIM in such a conversation. If he ever dumb enough to agree to such a sitdown, let's hope it goes down when they're both well in the 50's, with Barry having move on to an actually loving wife who gave him the kids he never knew he always wanted to have... Then, and only then, should he let her plead for forgiveness.

It wasn't much, and ultimately didn't really hurt my overall enjoyment of this story, but boy did it bother me!

Great revenge... but, like Barry mentioned, it still didn't feels like the assholes fully felt the level of hurt he did. 'Kinda hoping he isn't done at making Reese's life miserable - sure, fucking Becca ain't a bad retribution, but she herself deserves more payback for her part in all of this, so rewarding her with sex doesn't seem all that fair.

In any case, for what the author gave us here, this was more than solid. Pretty down-to-earth Halloween tale, but, at least, it probably was spooky for cheaters!

there are some btb stories where you are glad the wife got torched. I'm conflicted on this one. yes she deserved it. but maybe a longer story would have explained how she got into a position to get drugged and how the eventual follow up, that in essence changed her mental make up towards her husband and Reece. nice short story though ;0)

Dunno why, but I've read several stories lately that all have the husband learning of his wife's affairs over takeout Chinese food dinners. Is this a thing I should be wary of? 'Avoid the General's Chicken if you want to stay married' kind-of-thing? Interesting zeitgeist.

Barry went light on them, as I'd like to have seen some applied capsaicin in the mega-Scoville range, especially on Reese, for his long-standing dickhead-ery (What is it about that name? It's one of those names that I just hear it, and am prejudiced to think "that guy must be a dickhead". To any Reese's out there offended by this, i apologize for you having a dickhead's name; nothing personal).

... but at what cost? Honestly, he'd already won the game by being successful and marrying his beautiful wife. Now he's got a bunch of people around who knew he was being cuckolded, his ex-wife was falling in love with his worst enemy, and he's bitter and alone just getting occasional booty calls from a bitch who used to hate his guts and has very little respect for him. Yeah, show them you're not a noodle dick anymore! Who fuckin' cares, everybody still knows his wife was a cheating whore and he's a vengeful asshole.

This isn't a good story unless one is a revenge junkie who doesn't care about happiness, being a good person, or living well. It's bitter and sad and Barry lowered himself to the level of his tormentors. Sure, I think he needed to get back some of his own for what they did to him but he made himself look bad in the manner he got his retribution. As a reader I've lost most of my sympathy for him and that doesn't make for a good story. Now, instead of a hero, he's just a self-humiliating asshole and no better than Reese, Becca, or Lisa.

I know I'm in the minority but given that Lisa was painted as still loving Barry, despite her affair, and he clearly still loved her, I wish they could work it out eventually.

With Lisa having a full realization that she was infatuated with Reese, not in love, and that he was a bad person. And that her husband deserved a full and sincere apology for the affair and the pain caused by the disrespect with calling him Noodle. I feel like she called him that because Reese enjoyed it, not because she actually thought that. (Especially given that Becca notes Barry's size was the same as Reese's.) But still, he deserves a heartfelt apology full of regret and remorse.

I mean come on, when she first heard that story she should have been offended and angry with her new "friends". Rather than begin an affair. Yet people do stupid things when infatuated. I think her infatuation and Reese's dominant and evil personality likely led her to do many things she shouldn't and wouldn't have. Such as sex at parties her husband was at and sex in their bed. (Doesn't excuse her actions though.) And did she know Reese originally drugged her? If not, she may have been misled to believe she began things when she actually didn't. Though she still shouldn't have continued.

I could see an ending where he takes Lisa back, gets Becca as well, and destroys Reese (career-wise, confidence-wise etc.) and makes him a laughingstock. If Lisa and Becca support him, it's Reese's word against all of them. He'd be SOL in whatever Barry dreamed up. I think it would be a true comeuppance for the man that orchestrated all of this. Would love if you'd consider a follow-up story in these lanes!!!

I think a drug that made Reese unable to get an erection and stopped Lisa from feeling anything from penetration would have been a better revenge but I guess Barry wouldn't have got the divorce settlement he wanted.

I feel the Prof did an excellent job showing "Noodle" teetering on the edge of sanity after all the mental abuse. The biggest laugh for me was the antidote of semen and saliva for the sex cement (gonad glue?) (ass adhesive?) (lip-lock?) (polygrip?) (fidelity fixer?).

I've asked before but would you PLEASE write a sequel to this? I enjoyed it a lot but feel Reese needs to be destroyed completely. I'd also like to learn what happened to Lisa. I'd be interested to see a meeting between her and Barry as she requested.

I have so many questions because she seemed to really love her husband, yet was ok with humiliating him for months behind his back. And even to his face. Did she know she had been drugged by Reese? If so, why in the world would she continue with him. Were the things she said to Reese on the phone true or was she just placating him?

Honestly, I'm sure I'm in the minority but I am a romantic at heart. I'd love to see Lisa redeem herself somehow (maybe in helping destroy Reese) and she and Barry reconcile. Because they seemed to still love each other and had had a great marriage.

For some reason this story sticks with me. I just hate when loving couples are destroyed by evil forces (Reese), though Lisa was of course deeply at fault as well. I'm a big fan of yours and would be so happy and thankful if you could do a sequel! :)

If you had actually put some effort into writing them to be different or actually have dialogue that isnt in every story here this might have worked, but you didnt, and this ended up just being garbage.

The characters were one dimensional. The plot was funny and twisted. Lisa was an easily manipulated trophy wife who didn't really love Barry. She may have thought she did but that sort of humiliation makes it clear she did not. Not sure why his wife went with all the penis size comments when he filled out to be well endowed and as large as Reese. Was sex with Reese really all that better? Maybe the fact they drugged her made it seem better than it was. Like the MC said second time she went back it was over. Lisa fucked up and Reese is an asshole.

So, he’s basically a mad scientist who’s experiencing betrayal, and this is all the more revenge he takes?!? Even without your notes, I can tell that you were never bullied. The things I would do in his position…let’s just say that having their lips dissolve away is just the beginning. Time to create a real Horror!
