another wonderful chapter. Whilst off, and out of touch, for the summer I wondered how you were going to introduce Victor to Sarah but you outfoxed me with the two diversions of Carlos and the fire delaying Sarah's arrival. Good plotting!

The Hazmat Response and Health and Safety are well represented in this fic. The scenario is all too typical, the cause and deadly results, but it is kind of fun to read something so familiar as all Sarah's plans to manage the drill rig fire and setting up the response and coordinating with the local authorities and national media in a story that holds so much potential new information in other areas . Love the Dalia Lhama version of 'you don't even know what you don't even know yet Boot'. ^_^

The bloodborne pathogens concerns are oddly absent during intercourse, in spite of all the decon and cleaning described elsewhere. That seems to indicate this universe doesn't have fatal sexually transmitted diseases. Yay!

Good story if a bit Shangri-la in some aspects, it isn't really slavery when you can leave at will but a well written sub/dom story and very enjoyable.

The Vatican and mystery just add that bit of Indiana Jones-Bourne Identity flavor that spices things up even more.
