You did it again !!!!

How do you do it? You continue to produce stories of the highest quality. This one pulled at the heartstrings of this 'old man'! Really the kind of happy ending I look for on LITEROTICA. Bravo! Pete.

Great love story

A real keeper!!! Wonderful story, expertly told, flawless execution. I will keep this in my file of special stuff and when I'm down in the dumps, I'll read this again and I know I'll have a smile on my lips...and maybe a tear or two on my cheeks.

i really

adored your story, it was loving and wonderfully well written and although for Literotica there wasn't much of a sex theme to it...the romance and simple pleasure was a refreshing loving touch...keep it up and as always thank you for allowing us to read you. respectfully fan in Texas naynay

More than expected.

A wonderful piece.

Personally, I skipped through the nearly non-existant love scenes and moved onto the plot.

I applaude you for being able to get a lurker like myself to comment on a story here on Literotica.

Kudos yet again for wonderful work.

Keep it up.

Endearing story!

Mr. Hear,

What a lovely story, and so refreshing to read. You are indeed a talented Writer. One would have to wonder if this is from personal experience, or are you one of the really rare ones, who can make a story soooo believable. Best Wishes!

Read this one!

I was embarrassed by a fellow reader’s comment on this story, which reminded me that I have not paid my tribute to this very well deserving author for this gem of a story.

What happened, I was asking? Do people like me come to expect the best from DG, then when their expectations are met they sigh happily and quietly wait for the next story?

THIS IS A GREAT ROMANTIC STORY. Initially, presumably improbable, even in the eyes of the involved characters, until through the trials of life and good old chemistry the defenses and the weariness start melting together with your hearts.

Man, what is wrong with us that we respond so much more to the vicious and ugly aspects of human nature and go almost quietly with the beautiful ones? Start making it right by reading this story, and making your day a better one.

Depth, passion, integrity, charm...

Simply outstanding! Your portrayal of the children is particularly adept and charming. Stacy's personality reflects real life experiences. The story moves quickly, but pauses for special moments where depth of feeling makes it something extraordinary. There aren't enough stories like this... anywhere... ever! Thanks.

The Waitress- A great story...

Really a sweet story, may be kind of far fetched, but that is why they call it fiction. Thanks, I have read it several times. it is a real cheer upper.

An Excellent Tale....

Very well done. Covered all the relationship bases. The restraint shown by both main characters is what made this piece work for me. Loved the feeling of inclusion that reocurred throughout this story. Also loved the way their lives slowly melded together (like watching a broken bone mend). Dialogue seemed a bit stilted in spots, but this was one of your earlier submissions, so I gave it a pass. Overall, it was a very effective vehicle for conveying the healing taking place. -Mike-

Bullshit

A twenty five year old woman falls for a sixty year old man. Just think if they'd met fifteen years earlier he'd have been a pedophile.

Totally unbelievable. Fucking crap.

AnonymousAnonymousover 14 years ago
Well done

I read this before and came back to it. Kind of had to let it digest a bit. A well written tale that had enough realism to keep my attention. Some of the dialogue got a little stilted, but under the circumstances of the story I guess that sort of fits. Had I not known a couple of very similar ages who married and had twenty good years together I would have passed it off, but it does happen. Well done. Jerry

Good story, happy ending

Good, well thought out story, about the tragedies of life. If you want porn look some where else, this is good, real life stuff.

Nice one.

@Bullshit:

It’s funny you should say “Totally unbelievable.” To you maybe, because apparently you’ve never seen it happen, and if you haven’t seen it, then it *can’t* happen. I say it’s funny because it *did* happen in *my* family—a grandfather married a woman two generations younger than himself. All you revealed with your insulting, in-your-face comment is that you’re young or inexperienced; probably both. The author, on the other hand, has more than six decades under his belt and most certainly has seen more of life than you.

@DG HEAR:

While there’s all kinds of room for editing and polishing, your story is a gem. Let’s call it a diamond in the rough. I was perfectly happy with the lack of focus on sex; it is, after all, in the romance category. It’s the first story of yours that I’ve read, and it sounds like I’ll enjoy the rest. It’s a sweet, feel-good tale that I’m really glad to have found it. Thank you.

a wonderful discussion of a very important subject

Based on the comments there are some young readers who may find themselves looking back in a few years, surprised to find out that people over 30 can also have a healthy sex life. Meanwhile they will just have to work it out for themselves as they slip into their senior years.

I really like the simplicity of the Tags For This Story

Very nice story 5 stars

BUT he is too old. He's closer to grand father than father. Nice fantasy for us old farts, but reality will slap you in the face. In ten years when she is ready to rock and roll sexually he may need more than the little blue pill to perform at all...

Could have been a good story but 35 year age difference? That’s just gross!

I liked your story for the most part but couldn’t get past the age difference.

Too much of an ewwwee factor. 🤭

ho ho ho

Yeah, I agree. Anyway, where's the list of fantasies? Is there one called "geriatric vs almost jailbait unwed mother in distress rescue then love" fantasy? Can't too specific or the list is too long.

Hmm, yeah, unlike many authors, the jabbing in the ribs isn't seen as a woman's right to abuse their spouse, but rather a point where it's not taken like it's the way it should be, and things are set right. You can set it right many ways, but acknowledgment of the wrong and apology should be sufficient....this time. Next time might not be so nice.

don't normally go for these type stories-this is Lit, after all-but this is a sweet one, and liked the chapters a lot.

Too Old?

I'm 87 and widowed for 10 years. My son is balancing 3 girl friends that I know of. Obviously you guys who think 62 is too old were out of the running at 62. I sure wasn't. Even just a cuddle was appreciated. A 5 star story.

AnonymousAnonymousover 3 years ago
TOO OLD?

This story, or actually the comments, caused me to recollect a young beautiful family with two boys. Both had great occupations -- she a school teacher, he a diesel mechanic.

His wife divorced him, which was hard on him. But he kept a good relationship with his sons -- I remember him, later in life proudly telling me about them, including one in college.

He had at least two more marriages. One was to a woman who looked to easily be old enough to be his grandma. Although I had met "grandma," I no longer lived in that area by the time they married. A friend who did still live there told me that the lady ("grandma") told him that she was the happiest she had ever been. They had a number of years together until she died. This was maybe nearly two decades ago.

Maybe two decades previous to that, my wife and I talked with a couple who appeared like they could be grandson and grandma -- he looked to be maybe 30, and she definitely looked to be a wrinkled senior citizen (especially then, when I was in my thirties). I was shocked to hear that they were married. That one conversation (in chairs outside their travel trailer) was our only encounter with them. It sticks with me nearly 40 years later because of the shock factor.

So, yes, wide age-disparity marriages have happened.

Whether they happened like this story.....?

Well, on the world scale of weird, odd, and unusual things,

I would suspect it does not rate very near the top.

Age only is an issue if you let it be. All through my teen years I was more attracted to older girls / women. Later after my divorce I fell in love with a woman seventeen years older than myself but alas she was married and decided to stay with him. Recently I dated a woman seventeen years younger (I am three years older than her ex-husband).

AnonymousAnonymousabout 2 years ago

This story contains all the points I like to see in a love story. Age is too often an issue in a relationship. Thank God, the active participants do not have time to be bothered by small issues. They are too busy being happy and enjoying themselves to the max. They do not have time to trip over themselves or over the flowers in the rugs. Thanks for the writing.

An easy 5*
