Naive?

I actually made an effort to show that Ruth wasn't totally naive to the most basic forms of sex and anatomy. She asks to see Bradley's penis, showing she isn't totally naive. Just because she has seen a cow's schlong doesn't necessarily mean she knows what a human penis looks like... unless her dad was giving her a show...hmmm... never-mind, not that type of story. ;-) The preceding chapter "Ch.00"... the preface shows she knows about her own body to an extent.

Knowing about the act of sex doesn't necessarily mean you know of all the forms of sex and pleasure. This is what I hope to show in the chapters to come.

Thanks for Commenting :-) It's always helpful to see feedback!

P.S. If there are any former Amish among us... I would be very appreciative of any insider information that I could possibly include

A most delicious tale.

I know little about the Amish - there are none in Scotland - but this story had the ring of truth to it. I'll look out for more from you.

Very sweet story

Sweet story, well written, the writer did take some liberties with his subject, but that's a writers right.

Waiting for her first sexual incounter.

"Red Moon" by Benjamin Percy

Read this book (only after "Disapproving Rabbits") and everything else he's written. (I heard him read first on NPR--don't hold that against him--and that made me go to Prairie Lights (Iowa City) and hear him.

He's wonderful.

This comment goes with above story because--it's about being or not being or feeling human. (But maybe the story ends with saying being human is a bunch of crap. I hope not. But maybe I'm too indoctrinated.)

I was feeling down today, and I was still reading this novel--it's 530 pages. And then I got to this part--near the end--when in the novel, it's said:

"... please listen to me when I say you must resist. You must. You cannot roll over. You cannot play the bad dog they want you to play... Fight back...The public registry and the abolishment of antidiscrimination laws are equivalent to hate crimes. They are crimes against humanity. Lycans are human (my input--who/what isn't?). We are HUMAN..."

(How did I get so--trained?--that to be human was--glorious? *Liberal arts. Is this anti-rabbits, all animals who aren't accorded the status of being "human"? Is being "human" some kind of--racist?--thing? )

See also (trust me)--Daft Punks' "We Are Human" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e94y4EjWGs

But why do they want to be "human"? Who can stand it? To be human. Living hell.

Just imagine wearing a Daft Punk robot outfit. They're so sexy, to begin with. (I want--for several hours every day to be a Daft Punk robot.)

Maybe we should resist being "human." And be robots. Being "human" hurts.

Maybe being a robot hurts too. But I don't know.

"Human, human, human, human, human, human, human, human, human, human, human--

after all"

"We want to be ourselves, you know ...

'We just want to be ordinary and treated like anybody else. You can't let the few define the many ... we're just people ...'

'You don't think you're dangerous?'

'I think people are dangerous. '"

B. Percy, "Red Moon"--

[my input: people are/can be very dangerous--and so seductive]

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
I want to be human--

god damn it--

I REALLY, REALLY WANT TO BE HUMAN--

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
Is being "human"--

some kind of fascist term? (Forgive my spelling. Please. I think spelling sucks.)

The idea that "'please, please say that I'm 'human'."

Otherwise, I wouldn't have the right to live.

(To know that I'd be not only ashamed, but afraid, to say that a relative had schizophrenia --sp?---even if this wasn't true about myself--

but then I don't live in Bolivar, TN, where my mother was in Western State Hopital for the Insane--now. Where I visited her.)

(I should just enjoy all the erotic stories here, and, for a while, put away that stuff. I've done it before. IN FACT LOTS OF TIMES.That's why I read "Literotica"--to forget my mother. Now there's a good excuse. )

white rabbit of the woods

(sort of like "Giselle," or those--cute--Russian girls in graveyards--)

HOT STUFF: In Iowa City, if you're an Episcopalian--sp?--

they can talk all the talk they want--they can be just like you with their families--but from what I've seen they'll keep their "respectabilty."

How do they do this? I think this is it--YOU make yourself vulnerable by feeling shame, by being shy. Then what their mother, etc., has, they don't have. Otherwise, they'd feel confusion and--possibly--shame just like you.

You can have the same experiences, but you've interpreted them in different ways.

And by expressing your feeling about this, the person you're telling this to becomes more powerful. Their own personal experience of mental illness in their family becomes less important to them. They now have someone weaker, shamed, that they can feel pride of themselves in comparison to.

Well, they've covered over their feelings of shame with--something "positve." And they've degraded themselves by doing this. --joke--

FEEL SHAME (if you do you do)

I'm not crazy about any kind of "Christian" females--

YES! I can write erotica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(actually I have done--note Brit usage--in NYQ--stated here just to try and prove my---possible--rep.)

When I think about being human

it makes me cry--

i know this is stupid and maybe some kind of--something close to racist?--these--however this "human?" is described--

By "racist," just by putting living creatures (just no copulating snails on youtube, please god) --who aren't "human"--

I GOT THIS "INFECTION" FROM LITERATURE--

THAT I WORSHIP BEING HUMAN--

REALLY

It's a relief to meet "disapproving rabbits"--

just to know that they're out there--

that no one has to be "sexually active"--

THAT EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN AMERICA DOESN'T HAVE TO BE WANTING TO HAVE "SEX," OR TO BE CONSIDERED "INFERIOR," OTHERWISE.

THAT WE DON'T HAVE TO HAVE OUR SELF--IMAGE LESSENED--

IF IT'S BAD FOR WOMEN, YOU KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE FOR MEN--LEST MALES PRETEND TO BE IN A DIFFERENT SITUATION--THEY'RE WORSE OFF!

THEY CAN'T EVEN BE--

I won't say more--

I'm married, I can have it

AND I JUST DON'T WANT IT--

I'D RATHER READ A GOOD BOOK--

PEOPLE AT THIS SITE: JUST GO TO --AN EXCELLENT BOOKSTORE IN IOWA CITY--

(the more i read about some things, the less interested i am--her husband: for god's sake, just don't sell her any "erotic" "literature")

I like all this stuff about the lace underwear (hers)--

the [delicate] "little details"--

like male writers who mention/notice in their writing a woman's earrings, the way they move when she turns her head;

"toe cleavage"; etc.

And who in a book they know a woman from a more-restricted culture might read, the woman having somewhat known this writer and having talked to him (sorry--that was awkward), writes of this woman, "She was a firecracker." Knowing how that might make her feel. That this man from--sort of?--outside? admired her, noticed details of her style, found her attractive--

The connections that seem to be made from--ok--pearls... necklaces ...

pearls are all over the place in literature--

and even in "To Kill a Mockingbird," Scout being told that she will inherit her mother's pearl necklace (when she learns that her brother has been given her father's watch--and she feels slighted). Her father says something to the effect that it is a tradition for a father to leave his son his (the father's) watch.

But that her (Scout's) mother's pearl necklace has been saved for her.

The symbolism of these gifts is interesting.

HOW I KNOW THE INTERNET IS FOLLOWING MOI--

"Pretty Tough Dog

Pearls, hair bands? And now hot pink toes--

Seems tough for a tough dog like Duke--"

Pet food ad that appears after I post something about feminine--stuff--and specifically--pearls--

THEY'RE WATCHING US ALL!

Worse: I sorta got off on the cute ad--(now I'll go read some Beckett)

(joke ?)

"The hills are alive

and they're out to get me--" by my husband (but as he says, who knows who said it 1st?)

Or no?

I find (another) way--thanks

David Mamet--and don't anybody say a word against me--Mamet cares about PERSONAL freedom--

to compromise--politics and--desires

From "The Savage Detectives" by R. Bolano

"And did you keep fucking," I asked. Or whispered, or howled, I can't remember, although I do remember that I took several long drags on the joint and that they had to ask me several times to pass it on, it wasn't just for me.

"Yeah, we kept fucking, or anyway she kept sucking my dick and I kept slapping her but less and less hard ... I think her mother showing up had gotten to me ... I felt really beat, it must have been the blow job, you know? I wasn't thinking about Maria's lips, or her tongue wrapping around my dick, or her saliva, which by that point was dripping down the hair on my balls ...

'Spare us,' said Pancho ...

she said keep going, don't stop, it's all right. And I thought she meant she meant I should keep slapping her ass. What would you have thought she meant? (The same thing, said Pancho.) So I started hitting her again, well, hitting her with one hand and stroking her clitoris and her tits with the other. Really, the sooner we finished, the better. I was ready. But I wasn't going to come before she came."

Just because I appreciate Mamet's views on personal freedom, not having to fit even

your intimate life into a political profile--doesn't mean--I shouldn't feel the need to say this--and I won't--

(the above--by Bolano-- is adorable)

My "Lesbian Lover"--

humiliated me in public--

she acted like a--I don't know what to call it. She would very publically stroke my breasts, ass (I think that's all) in front of people. And I felt more and more passive and submissive. And degraded. And that I was yielding to it. (No male had ever treated me this way.) And we--my "lover" and and I--were--going against not only sexual but racial "standards."

She acted "macho."

And I felt (very) bad when I left her. Like I'd done HER wrong.

I'd started feeling like an abused child (when she said ----- and groaned as she stroked me).

this is fiction--

Those were NOT the best times

for feminists--gay or not--where I lived--

so many people were confused and/or--literally--drugged

even at work in "social services"--every 15 min. a shared joint

(i don't think i am, but if i were a bit--cynical?--forgive me?)

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
This was not why I'd gotten into feminism--

I'd "believed" in "equal" relationships--

even if there weren't these--one person didn't have to be trying to display themselves as socially/sexually "dominant"--

it didn't have to be as crude as what I --saw--

or was it all a show

for a skinny little Mississippi white girl who'd seduced and married a (former) Catholic priest (who wanted little Sally from Mississippit to tell him about the--friendships between his wife and--her little girlfriends at "Sacred Heart of Mary")?

(I don't have to tell you what you think is the truth. I'm a poet.

Born one. And I'll die one. I'll give up 50 years of my life to die a poet.)

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
Actually--(my poetry/fiction)

she (i'm not & don't have to explain anything--i'm writing this for myself, no one else and i )

only did these things--touching me in public--before one other person: Sally. Of *Saint Mary of the Woods. In Mississippi (Look it up. It's real.). Sally (she said, "Call me Silly Sally") said this excited her.

*These girls wore a ring--their school ring--with and S on one side of the--onyx? gem--and an M on the other side. Which often confused some people.

It excited Sally's ex-priest husband to have Sally tell him--make up stuff--about her--faux--exploits with other young Catholic girls in uniform.

by p. yevoc--copy-RIGHT by NYQ (which owns everything I ever wrote or will write)

(the above "statement" is part of my--pome)

What I like--more about--Mamet's

political philosophy--

I can fit in--

and I'm a woman

and Mamet let me in

and I get to say whatever I want

no matter how bad what I say is

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
if i hadn't left--

i would have been so much worse off--

I might have been dead by now--

yeah, i can see how someone with a different perspectice could have felt differently,

could have thought it was just a game--

could have thought they deserved to be punished because they were--

i did not deserve it--the punishnment

(Sometimes--even some art teachers--if a mother shows her son's cartoon work to him--trusts his judgment--he--the teacher--just looks at the art--cartoon--work--with disdain. Repulsion, even. Who knows? What an art teacher sees?

Who knows?)

Who knows that--this artist/poet/mother's--son's art/cartoon work has been influenced by Japanese art. By Japanese cartoonists (sp?)?

Not this art teacher, certainly.

(Note: In all art media, a lot of--excuse my crudeness--I'm low-class American--Japanese art, erotic art--can be seen by--some--Americans as being--repulsive.

As can female sexual organs.)

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 11 years ago
I'm not sure--

whether the cartoon art her son was interested in and influenced by was Japanese or Chinese. I'm sorry.

(Americans are lucky they/we can even--talk.)

But don't hold that against HIM!

(I--partly--married his father because he--the father--could speak at least 3 languages.)
