On one level, it's wonderful that two first-time lovers can have this open communication about their likes and dislikes. In my experience, people tend to be a bit more reserved, but it's nice to think that it can be done so openly and freely, if one is just willing to put their social inhibitions aside.

On another level, it reads a bit like a contract negotiation. An "I'll give you this, if you give me that" and "I'm open to this, but we'll need to discuss that later" sort of thing. It came off as a bit mechanical at times, working against the spontaneity of the encounter.

In the end, I liked it more than disliked it.
