To be honest I found that chapter a little dull. There was very little progress in story development and John's abilities are indeed becoming so god like that everyone else is diminshed.

Don't get me wrong, this is still one of the very best stories on the site but its time to move it on a bit.

I’m sure you have already decided what comes next, but I would like to make a guess.

My impression is that John will make Jehanna his spy master. With her history of investigative journalism, sorting out the details and truth is second nature to her. I don’t know what powers he would gift her to that end though. Maybe something to do with infiltration or combination of things from the other girls that would benefit a spy master.

I’m still curious if there will be an Invictus 3.0. I consider it currently being the 2.5 version based on the multiple modifications that it has undergone. I seems the be at the limit of what it can handle now, so I wonder if it’s about to be replaced with the next generation of design and materials available now.

You have soo many story threads open to explore, I’m wondering what the Walker courts martial will affect John’s current story arc. My best guess is revealing an unknown enemy using the brimorians as pawns. Perhaps another progenitor sent as a plan B if/when Larn’kelnar failed. Someone more subtle and cunning maybe? That would allow Jehanna’s talents to be explored.

In earlier chapters, you started showing what happened with Larn’kelnar’s empire worlds and the population left over. And in this chapter you reiterate that John is going to be sending the his thralls to capture the fleets of ships left out there. I’m curious how a now unclaimed thrall race will react to a claimed one. What will the Malari reaction be to seeing them and vice versa? Or if they see John, will they automatically bow down to him? Is the break from Larn’kelnar’s hold too raw for them to bond with another progenitor yet?

I can go on and on, but suffice it to say, every time you post a new chapter, I feel like rereading the whole story again.

@Anonymous, 8 months ago from this writing, regarding Luna's psychic door opening, in the story it is the 28th century, and the Maliri have had advanced technology from their beginnings, so, I think that techno wizardry is the culprit, ... this tale has stretched out for well over 5 years and it is very addictive reading, I too have gone back and reread from chapter one, and I was still thrilled. Tef continues to confound most of my best guesses as to what will come next in the story, and his Tefler plot twists are becoming legendary. ;-) TTFN

The scale of your creativity is riveting to say the least. Ive re-read the series at least 10 times hoping like je k there would be a new chapter waiting for me at the end lol. Good read after a long wait. Was hoping this chapter may cover Lynette's visit to Outer Rim, as well as Walker's trail. Maybe in the next chapter... While waiting for the next chapter I have started reading the story from the beginning for the 3rd time.

Another good chapter, Tefler. The character development and interactions add much to the story and flesh out the events. After 3 months waiting, I found myself forgetting a few characters and some of the backstory, which confused me. I've read your entire saga completely ~5 times. Doing so yet again is losing it's appeal. My other favorite author struggles to produce 1 chapter a year. At 3 months per chapter, it appears you are becoming like him. One of your readers notes that 7 more chapters are posted on Patreon. I understand the need to keep the paying public happy, but really... has your signicant other told you to 'let us eat cake'? 1-3chapters, ok. 7??!? Really! Have mercy!

On the other hand, I think you should get a Hugo Award for TSM!

Good chapter and some interesting ideas - to cover the shipdesign by holoprojectors and maybe using an holosweet design for the upcomming war would lead to some "cyber-war" ideas, let the foe shoot at holotargets for covering the own tracks.. Still massive unused psychic potential by the dragon and bolon... Maybe there will be some unexpectet friends to find at the unclaimed waistes?

Sure, the white knighting sucks but the people complaining in the first place are just annoying at this point. Just go read the paywalled chapter at (you know where) instead of constantly coming here to make grand declarations about how you’re ~done with reading this because Tefler has abandoned us~ as if anyone cares.

This is the 2nd time I've gone through your epic saga (one year apart) and I continue to be blown away and spellbound by your storytelling, character development and vivid imagery! I look forward to future chapters (I hope?) with bated breath. I am an appreciative fan for life...

I stopped commenting on literotica because there's such a crazy long delay on comments. You can't have any meaningful dialogue with people when you have to wait 24 hours to see their replies. Most of the in-depth discussion has moved to the dedicated discord server, where the fans have lengthy conversations about the various plot arcs. There are literally tens-of-thousands of comments about the story there!

I would like to see he gain additional powers like Sakura has, most predominately I want her to get the Sound rune Offensive (Sonic blasts/waves) and Defensive (shields), Cuz sound travel extremely well through water; ... and Athena (the good Guide) has the Light powers, and she has also mastered the short-range teleport ability that ole Larn'kelnar used, and she will teach to others, ... others to be added in the future, mix match, new abilities and overlaps, ... fun times ahead, ... ;-) TTFN

It very much seems like the negative comments are very much in the minority. This is frankly amazing and I don't know anyone else who could do a better job. I sometimes have misgivings about the girls and their complexity, but over the chapters this has largely been addressed or corrected.

Personally, I think there's a little too much emphasis on the psychic thing, but I've yet to see this play out so I'm with-holding critique on that (I also very much like the complexity and depth you've gone into here).

Honestly... I just wish you could pump these out faster. Given the number of words... and by god there's a lot of words I think in one chapter alone you wrote the equivalent of an entire book... I had expected this to wrap up by now. You have no idea how grateful I am that this is not the case and I can continue reading. This is very very addictive writing and keeps me continuously in suspense and on the edge of my seat as I continuously read through.

I do have a concern and that is the sex... others have alluded to it before. You've either struck exactly the right balance of being adult entertainment without being a written porn flick or there's something slightly missing with the sex. I'm not sure which I prefer so I'll defer to continued excellent writing and not complain!

I checked the writing schedule. Publishing is done every few months, between 2 and 5. Given the high... EXCEPTIONAL quality of each chapter published, I'm willing to give this very much a pass. You have no idea how hard it is to write a story this detailed and this intriguing. Tef is clearly an accomplished writer and doing their best to churn out writing I haven't seen anywhere else in quite some time.

I'd put him in the same park as Eric van Lustbader or Christopher Paolini and the Eragon series (the film is a pale imitation).

In chapters past, an action-lite chapter such as this would have had me skimming laborious dialogue.

No longer! It kept the story moving, and again, I loved the Ashanath and their shapely ships.
