Click hereGrey-hawk grabbed a suit and went to get dressed in the bathroom. His towel slipped and it instantly became a juggling act to keep his towel up and his clothes in his hands.
Cass chuckled and covered her eyes. "Go on, let it drop. I'm not looking."
Grey-hawk turned. "And how would you know…" His voice petered off when he noticed her eyes were covered. The towel dropped and he raced into the bathroom closing the door.
Grey-hawk dressed quickly and raced out, tucking his shirt in. He started looking for his belt. "Can you see my belt?" He asked as he sat to pull on some socks and shoes.
Cass got off the bed and started to look around for his belt. Cass found the belt and handed it to him.
"Thanks." He said as he stood and fed the belt into the loops. He opted out of a tie and pulled his jacket on.
"I'm ready." He told her and followed her out of his room.
This stands up with the best writing on this website, content, context, dialogue, and pure quality. Thank you so much.
I'm glad you did the sequel. I was sad when the last one ended. Keep up the great work
Great opener I can see this is going to keep me up for a while. Thanks.
This is my second time reading this story. And I just love Amy!!!! She pushes Cass in and vanishes. Sounds like something I would do lol!
How old is Sage? I figure this takes place right after KotM right, so in that Sage was 10 well 11 at the end, but now she's getting ready to turn 14, but the triplets haven't even turned one yet so what's Sage's age.
Not really,
An apparent tendency to produce multiple children and less inhibitions about starting a family (he will be less protective when you have had some pups was the attitude I remember from when Amy was first turned) means that more babies are born. The exceedingly high infant mortality rate would therefore be cancelled out by a high birth rate.
Just a quick comment, I've noticed that you write 'loose' a lot when in actual fact it should be 'lose'. Loose-fitting clothing or rope dangling loosely OR to lose a game of football or lose your marbles.
Other than that, it's been great!
"90% of Were cubs die in the first year" when "60(65?)% of the world's population are Were". If you ever publish, you need to fix that. Those stats are ludicrously off-kilter.
