If you have read this chapter, you should know the story just gets better and better!

Taking nothing away from this superb first chapter, I will reserve my rating until the end of the story.

I went ahead and gave you 5 stars just because you set the location in Houston. I didn't like the cocky attitude that your main character had. Cheating girlfriend warning had me partially prepared. But the following comment really puts me off:

"The possibility was simply too delicious. I had always had a weakness for other men's women. It was my private but favorite indulgence. A luxury like great caviar and Champagne."

John Cameron is a sick predator who needs to be locked away for the rest of his life. It shows explicitly what he thinks about women. To him, they're just a goal. Or possibly just an object to be won in a contest like a trophy. He's a sociopath.

There's actually no romance between these two people. It's strictly about the sexual chemistry. You shouldn't have tagged romantic or romance either one onto the story. I'll try try to stick it out for a few more chapters while hoping for improvement, but I honestly don't see it happening. 😕

After years of lurking and reading, I'm taking the writing plunge. I'm always open to constructive criticism and feedback. Please enjoy! A reader asked a good question: What's the proper order of the books? For the Traffic Girl series, which is best read in chronological orde...
