A good story - as far as it goes.
I think you need to do more research before writing again about the
Trans-Sib. It takes seven days five hours and forty-five minutes (across
eight time-zones) to get from Moscow to Vladivostok (a route distsnce
of 7,077 miles). This implies rather more complex arrangements than the
background is implies in this story.
If Jack was going to Beijing he would travel on the Trans-Mongolian
which "only" haves four days, six hours and eight minutes.
Siberia is big; nobody in Russia says they are going to Siberia, they
nominate an area or a town. Siberia covers a land area larger than the
whole of the USA (including Alaska).
As I said, a nice story, but do your research.

Thank you anon for the above. I only briefly mention the Trans-Sib, and that was in a passing comment. In other words, it's simply an idea, a vehicle in which to base an erotic story. (sorry about the pun) Nevertheless, it's innacuracy has clearly spoiled the story for you and that's a valid point for any author to remember when writing in future.
