Story is great, makes folks think.

Very enjoyable story and its nice to see the satire on Travis McGee. The only suggestion I might make is that if you are setting out to pay an homage to a writer or a character, try to write in the same style. All of the Travis McGee novels were written in the first person with good dose of (dare I say it) beat poet philosophy. This story could have easily been converted to a first person narrative and for me it would have made it a much more satisfying homage to Travis. Now if you can just find a way to get Meyer into the next episode.

Thanks for a good story and reawakening a memory of the McGee series. It's good to know how Travis ended up and that he has not changed his ways in any significant fashion.
