Dear American Readers.

I recently received an email berating me for usng the word arse instead of ass. I am an Australian and we say arse. I will never succumb to pressure to spell words the way you do. I couldn't care less if you say ass, which to me is a donkey, I will spell colour with a 'u' and drive on the left hand side of the road until I die.

Many thanks however to those US readers that like the Australian slang and language. Cheers.
