Lost time?

On the one hand, I live that this story stays limited in scope and ends when it should. On the other, I desperately need the extended epic, where our band of misfits and lovers gets drawn into the magical conflict that the dean hinted at and end up leading the world into it's new magical free love future

@Anonymous : I wasn’t having fun with this story anymore, so I decided to end it cleanly. The ending is like this, though, so that if anyone else wants to play in this playground they are free to do so. Lots of ideas and world details exist in my head that I didn’t quite get the chance to bring in, so I’m happy to supply them to anyone who wants them.
