And so, it was. We travelled a bit, both by ourselves and with Cindy and Caz. It was hard with them living interstate, but we managed to video message at least twice a week. I transferred to the school in Garry's hometown and was treated as one of the locals. My parents were horrified that I had hooked up with the father of a friend, but I suspect they would be more horrified if they knew he first knew me as a stripper!
I don't regret becoming Vanessa and sometimes she creeps out in the bedroom, much to Garry's delight, and I believe that she helped me become the woman I am today, a woman expecting twins who is deliriously happily married to the father and father-in-law of my best friends.
"So, honey, have we settled on Eleanor and Rupert for the babies?" Garry asked as we snuggled in bed one morning.
"Well, yes, until they come out and tell us otherwise, Old McDonald!"
"Oh shut up! Wait, what are you doing... oh, my, EIEI...oooooh..."

You have written numerous 20k word stories in one sitting yet breaking this one up into five chapters definitely added something to the suspense…especially the break when Cindy learned of her mother’s death.
Will there be more multi part stories in your future offerings?

Clarissa72over 1 year agoLoved the story…. But those baby names sound like a little old gray haired couple on a farm😂Rupert I just can’t😂😂and Eleanor; both are hard Hell No’s😩😩😂Otherwise fantastic story; from beginning to almost end. Minus old ass names for babies ❤️😂

Like Southern Crossfire I had not wanted Libby/Vanessa to end up with Gary as it seemed to me that it would be a very unequal relationship. However not only does Libby/Vanessa change and realise who she is and what she wants but Gary changes too, and realises he wants a companion who will be herself and jointly enjoy travel etc, rather than have a wife who is simply a sexy woman and the mother of his children. I like how Libby reconciles the Vanessa in her and is not afraid to express that side of her, in the appropriate circumstances that is, (e.g. Gary’s bedroom).
One of Jezabel’s many strengths is that her character’s are real and have flaws, just as we all do. I find it easier to empathise with flawed people than with perfect stereotyped heroes.

I was concerned about Garry and whether he would be good for Libby in earlier chapters but you did a nice job of salvaging him here and making the reader hope that the two of them would have their HEA. It was good to see how you put this all together and how you got the reader to care for the characters, with Libby in particular as she basically grew up, learned what she wanted to be and what she wanted to do with her life, and how she might deal with her past. Great job. SC
