Arguably, the best chapter of the first six. The Warden's entering the house and seeing the awful signs of his wife's forced debauchery. Mylo's sadistic gloating. Liv's very groggy awakening to the sickening memories of what had been done to her and shameful realization that she had been so drunk/drugged and aroused that she had eventually become an enthusiastic participant. Her humiliation as to the latter is what made this chapter intriguing. Even though it was caused by forces beyond her control (intense physical stimulation while under the influence), she's still deeply ashamed that she did on some level enjoy it.

Other things that stuck-out;

1) Mylo's forced use of drugs and alcohol to breakdown Liv's resistance is certainly more believable than the typical and stupid: "I've never orgasmed so much before which makes me now love my rapist" that one finds all too often in non-consent stories.

2) The non-linear structure. One enters this chapter as one enters a scene of a crime. Brilliant.

3) Liv is still resisting Mylo despite her knowing that she briefly succumbed to him.

4) Mylo forced her to smoke cigarettes. According to this story that's more horrifying to her than being forced to use drugs. Yet, there are no scenes of her actually smoking. It might have been interesting as to why Mylo forced her to smoke.

Things I didn't like:

1) The "lady outside/ho' inside" trope that is Liv. Her having trashy lingerie/sex toys/pornos and past experience with drug use/seductive dancing lessens the impact of Mylo forcing her to do those things. Her having little or no experience with such stuff would have emphasized the whole breaking her down to his very low level.

2) Porn DVDs? Is this set in 2007? If porn was to be used to degrade Liv, then why not Mylo making Liv stream it on the TV? Again, Liv having a porn collection and "favorite scenes" undermined her character.

3) It's fiction. It's fantasy. It's not real. But at times it really pushes the boundaries of believability. That any woman would be aroused by such treatment. That Mylo could actually perform as he does. That Liv isn't in serious physical pain after her first assault, let alone repeated ones. The overall quality of the story allows me to ignore such stuff to an extent, but I did roll my eyes at times.

Fewer pages and get to the sex

Show don't tell. I suppose I should start but saying I like the series and have read all the previous chapters. But too often you tell what the audience should experience and show would could easily be told about. If you're writing for your enjoyment then more power to you but if you want to tell a more powerful story consider when you should show and when you should tell.

Interesting and arousing to say the least, however the anal episode could use more detail.
