I'm not sure I understand but why is the sunshine coming through the windows always yellow? Does everyone have yellow stain-glass windows or someone wearing yellow tinted glasses/contacts. I know that when you draw a picture you would use yellow to indicate sunlight, but when you are telling a story you should use something like warm, radiant, bright, brilliant, dim, ect...

Other than that I really am enjoying your story, and look forward to seeing more from you. I just think you should discribe the picture and let it develope in your readers minds, instead of trying to paint it.
