10 Big Blazing Stars for an Amazing effort, Amazing heartache, heartbreak, and heartwarming all in one short tale. My wife tunes in to "The HallMark" channel, and I read your short story both receiving the same result. As an old guy, I have many many regrets and sad memories from my life. I can so identify with the protagonist in this story. So many lost loves, maybe if I just hadn't gotten pissed at her cheating that one time. Maybe if I just hadn't thrown her out in the street. Maybe if I hadn't left her. Maybe if I just hadn't done what I did. Maybe, just maybe I wouldn't be so very sad today. Life is a learning experience and a blessing.
