Perhaps I erred there... and perhaps, because Gerry is utra rich, it doesn't matter to him or others what he wears. Were I to redo the scene I'd use trousers, or slacks. But it's finished. What I don't understand was all the clammering that I end the story - that it was too long. And bowing to my readers, I ended it abruptly, without the final scenes resolving the various plot and subplots in a tale that was at least four stories wrapped into one. I won't do it again. PW
