I find Google Translate an amazing tool, but not to produce a story which is in any way readable. Take a page of an English novel and run it through Google into French and you’ll see. In my view GT is better French to English than English to French, but even so, the comparison works. The best way of doing this if your English is up to it, is to rewrite your original in English (not to translate), then get a native English editor to sort the errors. My first language is English, and my French is fluent, but I assure you that were I to write a story in French you’d find it difficult to read due to errors. You’re doing the right thing asking for help - I really hope you find someone to work with you.
