I'm so happy that part of their life is over. Now we can get focused back on Allie and the babies. I hope her cousin and her boys officially move into Allie's old house and be a real family now. I truly enjoyed this chapter, it really moved the story forward and without the threat of Cecil's visit hanging above everyones head I look forward to seeing how the story will progress. But I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with ur portrayal of the only black man I've come across in your writing. I understand you're trying to foster dislike towards his character but did he have to adhere to every possible stereotype (a racist, money-grabbing, abusive male). Overall I enjoyed the chapter but it also made Cecil synonymous with every possible evil and while I understand your characters preference for the white male I felt as though this portrayal offered a very skewed view of men of colour.

I don't see all black men that way but neither does any of the characters. Cecil just happened to be black and he has major issues with white men I'm particular.

I have really enjoyed this story and have been waiting with bated breath for the next instalment. Thank you for an enjoyable and extremely interesting story. I like that fact that there is romance in there too. Brilliant.

So good, and I was hoping for more to happen to Cecil too...asshole! I only viewed Cecil as portraying one warped man who just so happened to be black, as I believe was your intent. There are plenty of good men out there, and unfortunately there are quite a few racist assholes regardless of skin color too. Cecil doesn't represent black men as a whole, and even though most of your heroines end up with white men; the only "preference" I pick up on is that they're strong enough to go with who they love, not who they "should" be with.

I'm glad that cecil is no longer apart of the story he was just a negative person that didn't deserve anything he had, not his kids or wife. But i think it would be nice for dee and marshall to get together, the boys like him and he's a good guy. Now I can't wait for the babies to make their appearance.
