Why is only Kim pregnant?

Abby seemed desperate to get pregnant. And she doesn't have a lot of time. She's already 35 at the beginning of the story. Her peers have kids that are graduating high school. Tina was 32, too.

I was loving this story up until the entire Kim & Beverly nonsense started. I could write pages about why I disliked it, but there really is no point. Thanks for all the fun stories.
