The narrator checking out of wife's swain spare nights was a good touch. The three-some was too off hand for me to buy into. A little flirting would have set this up better. The author is rushing some things that need to be seasoned properly for a first tier story.

better do something in addition to getting revenge. Personally, I'd just skip the revenge and have her served on Fri night at her sister's. Needs to move to Macon and have a "come to Jesus" meeting with his daughter.

The main story just went of the rails… too many distractions all over! Noting to like about both deceitful characters!!!
