The slave in the basement trope is a little less imaginative than your other work and is also, in a very literal sense, very cold and detached. There’s a feeling of safety and comfort that comes from being controlled and dominated but this story lacked that element for me.

This was up to you usual excellent level. Cages and complete slavery aren't my thing, too scary and inhumane, but I understand some people like that level of kink.
