The beginning was great, the ending not so much.

That was almost incoherent. One of HDK’s worst offerings.

Strange reconciliation there. We never heard why she hooked up with Steve, or what happened to him after the shooting.

I gave it 5 stars. I think it deserved more than 4 even if it's just because it makes me consider the possibility that there is hope for people.

Regardless of whether you think it is a stupid ending or not - people are largely stupid! Enjoyed the tale.

What a stupid ending to this story. My summary of this story: a marriage that was a sham, a divorce that was a sham.

I was shocked at the heavy cost the wife paid for cheating. Financially she made millions.

Emotionally, her husband stayed with her to support her.

Physically, she had a live-in man to take care of the property.

The husband got a wife that he couldn’t trust to be physically faithful to him. He got a wife that he couldn’t believe would ever tell the truth to him. He got to live from that point on under the spector of wondering if he was physically attractive to his ‘wife’; if he really ever did and would physically please her. That certainly diminished the only thing he got out of the deal; the concession of sex.

To me, that doesn’t make the mc deep nor intelligent.

I did, however’ enjoy hdk’s writing style. 4/5*.

For this couple, this can actually work. The FiL sees the clearest of any of them.

Billy_Ray_BanBilly_Ray_Banabout 2 months ago

What a unique solution to this situation! I certainly didn't see this one coming! A divorce does return a measure of self-respect to the husband. She screwed up. She regretted it. They both still admitted that they still love each other. Going forward post-divorce, without the bond of marriage in place, and some sort of understanding that they were to be exclusive going forward, this could be a solution for the needs of both spouses. If the wife screws up again... if she becomes a shrew... If she goes back on her promise to offer everything sexually to her husband... the husband has no encumbrances. He can just leave her behind without any legal, civil, or financial penalty to be paid. If at some point down the road she regains enough trust - maybe they look at remarrying? Maybe they don't. Despite his remaining love for his wife, he would be smart not to overly invest himself emotionally towards his wife at this point. 5/5 BRB

The former Christian has made negative comments on many of my stories, but keeps on reading them. Methinks he doth protest too much. He is a closet HDK fan. I want readers, even confused ones, more than kind comments. Thanks for reading, Xman.

xhristianjxhristianj3 months ago

Non-sensical the lawyer had every right to have the court declare the husband non compas mentus. I mean for fucks sake brain tumor, shot in the head and obvious signs of being in shock.

And yes you absolutely can still operate lucidity but be in shock. His ridiculously bizarre decisions were absolutely evidence of mental impairment. But whatever dude you love slutty 50 year old pussy so much eat up that creaminess! 😂😂😂

AnonymousAnonymous3 months ago

The thing is when they are divorced the marriage is over. Getting back with her on any terms is a new start. Regardless of what people feel, it is their right. Would I be able to do what he did, no way, I m not built that way, one and done as they say. But, who are we to condemn what may work for them.

nixroxnixrox3 months ago

1 star - NOPE - This is not a solution to the problem.

A RAAC is impossible.

The SLUT committed adultery 'repeatedly' and in the marital bed.

SLUT needs to be sitting out on the curb in front of all the neighbors, waiting for the Uber.

Husband needed to buy an Island in the Caribbean, where he could live happily ever after.

HDN - king of wishful thinking.

My experience is a cheater will cheat again.

After three near misses (engagements that ended when cheating discovered) - I made the decision to look at fidelity as the first attribute to look for (meet the family socially, see how they interact, go to church, verify that attendance means something).

Married 31 years, getting better all the time.

Still a favorite. It has pathos, some human stupidity, compassion, pain and remorse. All done in a short venue.

Cannot imagine agreeing to this deal.

The wife never offered any explanation of what she did.

She did it twice so she did not regret doing it the first time.

She will do it again.

Maybe it would have been pointless for Tom to have addressed it but, when the family confronted Janet about her actions she told her daughter that the only time she fucked Steve was when Tom walked on on them. Then minutes later she tells Tom that was the second time she fucked Steve.

Granted he wouldn't be able to trust her just based off of her breaking her marriage vows but, he now also knows she's not willing to be honest with him about her actions either.

Regardless of what form their relationship takes going forward their needs to be a conversation about her behavior where she's completely honest about everything she did.

Another waste of time reading this willing cuckold story (even if it’s after the fact). A person can never forget walking in on a spouse in the act and then become a loving couple again.

We read these fictional stories hoping for the justice so often denied in real life. LM

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Ok. I try really hard, to follow HDK’s stories. But I cannot understand, WHY these authors can’t allow a cheated on spouse, to leave the marriage with some dignity. Any woman who would let me divorce her, and want to be my fuck buddy, is not a person I want to be involved with. The wife fucked up... maybe she is a bad person, of maybe she just lost her mind. It really does not matter in the end. Divorce, and move on....

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Hi HDK, avoiding options of the anons, I love your work. While a slap down of a cheater may needed at tines it just isn't real life. I guess the "different strokes" philosophy applies. Keep on keeping on!

The last guy who commented wants to give me writing advice, yet ends his comment with bias's? WTF? This is why I cannot and will not write to please insecure men who can whine for hours but are too lazy to check the spelling of words they use. "biases or biasses. The plural form of bias; more than one (kind of) bias."

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

I'm sorry HDK but it's true. I've also read almost all your stories, and it is "only" because you are infact an incredible writer that I do. Your worst BTB stories are simply ones where a fair and equal divorce is the outcome, the worst your female antagonists and up enduring is not being forgiven their many betrayals. You write most of your men softer than women and by that I mean softer than the BS social view of women, 'cause we all know in reality they are the most vicious and unforgiving creatures on the planet. Well most adult males do anyways. I think you should take comments like this more to heart and possibly write some stories that those of us that follow you "because of your fantastic writing" could read and enjoy the content as well. Truth be told a lot of your stories make me physically ill, you write some amazing Male characters and then have them act totally out of character, and you must know this. Your underlying need to have them belittled, submit, and be humbled, is blatantly apparent in all your writings. Just an honest opinion to take into consideration, that is if you give a shit about those people who are fans of your writing but not your Male prejudices and bias's.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

I really don't like stories that depend entirely upon either the casual intervention of a higher power or the sudden recollection of 79 years as a navy seal, an army ranger, and a nuclear submarine.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

I donnot care about a "probable" or "best" solution, but you are a master of "entertaining" and "original"!

5 stars, as almost always

xhristianjxhristianjover 1 year ago

I appreciate coming up with entertaining twists in this category is hard if not impossible. What fucks me off about HDK is they are in fact a genuinely talented writer but let's be fair here you are predisposed to RAAC if not borderline Femdom Fantasy.

Most people assume RAAC is the more romantic option the happy ending so to speak but if you think about it is it really? When a partner cheats especially a long term partner the most difficult emotion is not in fact the betrayal though initially that is the primary driver.

The hardest thing for most cheated parties is the sense of inadequacy. If a partner strays irrespective of what they say to assuage any guilt or to make excuses it's personal it's that person saying your not enough your not good enough.

For Guys in particular this is devastating joke all you want about Male Egos but we as Men derive a tremendous amount of our self worth in what we do what we provide who we protect. Mock it all you want but it's primal, it's genetic it's ingrained into our Masculinity. So when HDK so easily sets aside this aspect so often it pisses me off so all these so called RAAC romances for me are really tragedies with Guys who have set aside their egos because of the family and now their stuck married to a lying cheating slut who frankly doesn't deserve them.

HarddaysknightHarddaysknightover 1 year agoAuthor

I feel I should thank the former Christian guy with the comment before mine. He has read every story I've posted and commented on them. His reading comprehension is limited, at best, but he's faithful as an old hound dog. My stories annoy him, but he cannot free himself from reading my stuff. This warms the cockles of my heart. Thanks, Former Christian J!

What a fucking load of bullshit seriously this asshole author invents new ways to fucking cuckold guys

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Wait. He got shot in the head. Who shot him? (Presumably "Steve"). What happened to the police investigation of the shooting? Why didn't he ask wifey, "Did that asshole Steve shoot me?" It wasn't an accident; he heard the sound of "an empty chamber strike" so somebody pulled the trigger. And the pistol had to be re-cocked because it was single action and then refired by deliberately pulling the trigger. Somebody tried to murder him in the story as part of the set-up but then they reconcile in a heart warming Hallmark Channel finale and no resolution? I call "Bullshit."

Finally a .22 to the head but it's a minor injury, except for the unrelated heart problem? .22s are a favorite caliber pistol for Mafia hitmen. It would scramble his brains.

I didn't like it ⭐⭐

When I started reading the story I thought just another I came home early story. Most of them have the same ins and outs. This one started out OK. It got much better then it died in my terms.

I didn't mind the change in his mind and wanting to share the lottery money. In my book it would have been a good story at that point in my book. To me it went down hill after that. Once again it is my opinion, but it is your story.

You always write good stories even the ones I don't like have excellent writing.

I kind of like the ending (it's one of the VERY few "reconciliation" ending types that would not get an automatic 1 star from me).

But it is not realistically feasible in at least some - if not all - states, in that the moving back in may be considered by the court to be common law marriage and therefore not get the protagonist any benefit judicially compared to not divorcing at all. At the very least, he would need a contract - not sure how enforceable that would be - that would work same way as a prenup.

I did not like the ending . HDK is a good writer but I would not have given the cheating and lying cow more then 10 thousand dollars . That way she could pay for the house and her food . We all know she will have another guy screwing in her house within 6 months . Let the kids do some work as they go to college or a trade school for their future . Let the poor husband go on a cruise and find some Lady to spend his life with . A Lady that will be faithful to him . Let the ex know that He is living well and that his new wife is having his baby
