It's personal taste, but your descriptions of the three witches turned me off before even getting into the story...

If you are going to write about religious traditions (even those having been invented over the past century or so), don't jump from wicca to satanism in the exposition. They start off praying to Hecate, then jump to Satan? What the fuck?
