Love the story. Could be a bit longer but I enjoyed it. AAAAAA++++++

As a veteran on VA Disability, there is no limitation to earned income that would ever effect it. I think you are thinking about Social Security Disability/ Medicare, which caps the amount you can earn each month. Other than that, great story.

A little short but good. Where have you been I enjoy your writing and hope you get back into it. I thought you left some of your stories hanging and should be finished. Hope you do more.

Fake I know but really...

This is the kind of story I really like. It could have had another chapter of his work involvement but it was good the way it was.

Liked it except for no consequences to the cheating wife, made the story seem incomplete to me.

Nice story. Hope they would have a family by now, but after 9 years, probably won’t happen. I know there are stories abut children of sibling sex, but genetic problems are highly exaggerated.

Good story, but you should do a little looking into your subject matter and what the VA allowed and what it doesn't a 100%, he is still allowed to do some jobs and still get his payments. There is a lot of places you can go from where you left off.

GOOD STORY! First of yours for me. Going to follow and thanks for not picking up the bad Literacy habits others pick up here like the dot dot dot syndrome! Score? 5 BIG ASS FLAMING STARS!

A good brother/sister romance. I enjoyed it.

Scores 5/5

Well done. The gravitational pull from siblings to lovers seems to be natural and downright believable. I enjoyed it greatly!!

While I'm 100% behind the military and hate cheating wives, I couldn't help feeling sorry for Linda.

-

She was a faithful wife for 24 years, and just wanted him to retire. Even though he knew she was unhappy, he chose to continue his tour, then extended it for another 6 months instead of coming home. Did he hate his wife or something? Why didn't he want to spend any time with her?

They were in their 40s but never had kids, so she had nothing to keep her occupied at home while he went abroad for months at a time. The poor woman was probably bored out of her mind... or cheated on him relentlessly for decades.

-

The most astonishing part of this story was that Linda hadn't left him years ago when her biological clock started ticking.

Brings back some memories. Not about the sister, but about the military, and losing a wife over it

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

Being a romantic and I felt in love with my sister, and we became lovers and a couple the logical progression would be for us to make a baby. I know the downside was that the sister was 44 years old and the older a woman is....the harder it is for her to get pregnant.

But again, in a prefect world a couple fall in love. Move in together. And make lot and lots of beautiful babies.

As a jarhead, I was having problems believing an army guy could write with so few errors. but then the sis said she was glad to have a big strong gb in the house - reeled me right back in.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

First of all, I found the story lacking. Second, it has a good story line, but…..

Third, if you truly were a disabled vet, you’d know that having a VA disability of 100% does not prevent you from working in the private world.

I would suggest that you stay away from military vet stories.

This tale made it difficult for me to willingly suspend disbelief, but I liked it anyway! Five Stars.

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

What a crap story, the author needs to have a former military member edit facts about military benefits and what a cheating spouse is entitled when divorcing. Also when wounded in combat with the wounds described in this story the wounded is shipped to Europe and ultimately back to the U.S. there was so many blatant errors i found the entire story a crock of shit without getting to the sex scene.

KrazyKumbucketKrazyKumbucketover 1 year ago

Dude, first Dont quit your day job..

Second you obviously know jackshit about the Military. Do us all a favor, and stop writing like you do.

ScottishTexanScottishTexanover 1 year ago

I never served in the military, but even I clearly saw the blatant errors pointed out by the other readers who commented on VA benefits. I applaud the fact that the sister was in love with her brother as more than just a sibling. But I found that I couldn't buy into two different marriages for the two siblings and neither one of those unions produced any children. Brother and sister both in their mid forties and not a single child between them?

Basically, this story really is better suited as an outline for a much larger, fleshed out novella. 3/5

I liked the story, although I agree with the others. I understand this is just story and not based on facts.

Perfect story that I like. You may have not had your facts straight but I di not care. 5 stars

GOOD WHILE IT LASTED...CINCO ESTRELLAS!

Good outline of a story with interesting people and events. Do a little more research, fill in a bit, make it a bit longer, and you are on your way!

Looking forward to further work!

The ex wife never loved him otherwise she would have been worried when she found out he was wounded and more than likely she more than likely cheating on him while he was in the service

PhoenixLore1981PhoenixLore19816 months ago

Its still a decent story i still hold the wife didn't love him but too add her leaving him i can't blame her he supposedly spent 24 years in the military and then REI listed for another 6 months shes correct for the most part he chose the military over his wife he didn't have to stay in for another 6 months he could have retired and been comfortable but no he would have rather stay instead of going home to his wife like he should have done to start with nature of it is the courts and everyone did the wife dirty in this story and that's bullshit she should have left his ass he deserved to have his wife leave him he didn't want to be with his wife is the only reason he stayed in the military and you spoke of him having PTSD well if that's the case he wasn't special forces those in the special forces are chosen cause there best at what they do but also immune to PTSD thats the main reason why they are excepted in to the special forces going by the title they are green beret which is army they have never had a member that suffered from PTSD just like the navy seals hasn't the marine raiders has had a very few as well as the marine force recon unit has had a couple but mostly never but the army special forces will not allow someone to be part if they even have a slight chance of ever suffering from PTSD i was in the special forces myself Marine raiders to be exact so I know how the recruiting and applications process is

REALLY GOOD TALE AND STILL . . . CINCO ESTRELLAS!

Magilla5Magilla54 months ago

One technical issue a deployed solder, airman, sailor can not be divorced of by the at home spouse. Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SRCA) protects service members from having to make decisions and deal with a divorce while deployed. It is used to postpone all civil obligations or actions including bankruptcy and evictions so that those in the military can give their full and undivided attention to the work at hand. What the at home spouse wants is irrelevant.

LechemanLecheman28 minutes ago

Ok, facts for @PhoenixLore1981.

You really should Google PTSD and Special Forces - apparently they are more vulnerable to PTSD than other Armed Force members. Link: https://fherehab.com/news/ptsd-in-the-special-forces/

As to the story, enjoyed it. Well done!

I spent 23 years in the U.S. Army followed by 20 years in law enforcement. During that time I was a bodyguard for many high-profile clients. I have travelled to over 35 countries. I have had many interesting encounters with females during that time.
