scruffnz's idea would be very bad for the shifters. The leadership would be wiped out and the surviving packs would have to find a new way of order.

Looks to me like there will ultimately be two beloveds and two mates in the foursome. Candice will end up as Jax's vampire's beloved. After he and Torie have mated of course. They are going to need a really big bed or two adjoining ones? Maybe separate rooms. Swinging shifters on the Furry Playboy/Playgirl channel? lol Poly Penthouse? Vampi-Viagra? Giving a stiff, a stiffy, since Vlad the impaler? lol
