Bravo! I was prompted to go back and reread the first part, and the two parts together make a deeply satisfying whole.
Lord I was so into it, emotional and stuff, and you literally took me out with the Willy Wonka blasting through the roof part. I was literally wheezing with tears; took me a while to calm down and get back into rhythm. That's a core memory. Anyways, Bravo as usual 👏

dnsontn, I have actually written two sequels to Please Wait for Me, but they didn’t honor the original, so I have not published them (and will not). PWFM remains my favorite writing, and I have not yet been able to match it. So . . . .
