But remember how you said what goes around comes around? Suppose, for example one of my daughters' husbands decided she had done him wrong and he decided he would have his revenge. Justification would simply not matter. I would use a long gun I suspect, after all, I'm an old man now. Or maybe a bang stick, that way I could watch the light fade from his eyes. I might not get away with it, but I have Stage IV prostate cancer, so what do I care?

with your musings on the comments some make. I have never understood why some feel the need to be so hyper-critical and downright ugly in their comments. Good grief, if I feel a story has no flow, is too unbelievable, or has so many grammatical and spelling errors that I am distracted (and this is actually a pet peeve of mine being so strong in these myself) I close it out and move on. I often wonder how some stories get past the moderators but then I have to remind myself this is not a composition class and therefore no grades are being given..lol. If I like something I try to always comment positively, if not, I keep my mouth shut. I guess many of those posters didn't have moms who taught them, "If you haven't got anything nice to say, then say nothing at all." For this very reason, I will not post the stories I have written. While I don't consider myself a writer, I have written a couple things for specific persons regarding specific fantasies we had together. They are near and dear to my heart and I do not think I could bear to have them torn to shreds... much as a mother watches after her children, I guess! Good for you that you have learned to take what you can use from the comments and throw those out those that have an "empirical" nature to their criticism.

Keep writing and the readers will keep reading, and about 98 percent will enjoy and appreciate your efforts. Remember that many people in all walks of life have issues, and some of that boils over in their comments. We writers are their therapy. We provide a service, and you are doing it well.

The only one of the thoughts that I do not agree with is about payback.

It is not obvious why I should waste time and energy on this that could be used to move on. In the case that I have to payback I would be letting the adulterous couple run my life as well as ruining my previous life... I prefer to think that this is the first day of my new life. Of course, that will be called wimpish. The funny thing is that payback almost always puts you on the wrong side of the law. How about going back to having adultery declared a crime...... Yeah there would be more people in prison than outside of it.

You joined not long after I did. But waited before you started writing. A good thing in my view. Of course the difference is you can write and I can't, but that's okay. Anyway I enjoy your stories and even though I don't always leave a comment rest assured I do read your stories and I can't think of one story that I have marked down I like the content of your stories and your writing is certainly very good. As for your thoughts? Well you are right on most of them certainly the English writer you refer to is a loss to this site. You have a solid following because you don't take delight in absurdities that intentionally offend rational sensibilities.

You write to reality and life even the lesser side which most have painfully experienced to some degree. The key is you don't paint absurdly helpless hopeless ill intentioned braindead characters unless they suffer consequence commensurate to their offending intent.<P>

To you and our englishman talent just isn't enough. You and many others understand that content / subject is more important than talent. <P>

Talent can be grown. Whereas offensive absurdities without reality and consequence can be dribbled by anyone with the stupidity to utter them.<P>

So please continue to build your portfolio and your readership by favoring the path of doing the right thing but extracting justice when life asks for it.<P>

On the other side of your coin are the writers of negative reality who roll in the subhuman absurdities of self humiliation, self disrespect and pain for themselves and others without any of life's realities or consequence at the bottom.<P>

They write to excite the few like themselves but also to anger the vast majority for the attention it brings. They spew the negatives to elicit the demeaning responses required by their sick mind.<P>

Their right to crudely offend if not responded to is a quiet approval which offers no consequence for their sordid attempt to excite.<P>

That is in large part why you are a breath of fresh air. Its not just your growing talent to entertain or arouse sensibly. The majority can relate to you and your intent.<P>

Hopefully new writers will see the sensibility of your path and purpose for while the pay is less than low they will garner as you do the readers respect and appreciation of your intent.<P>

I appreciate your sharing your stories. There are enough sad endings that life feels it needs to inflect on our lives. There is nothing wrong with a happy ending. You have been one of my fovorite writers since I found you. You have a great ability to tell a story. Keep up the great work, and I will be looking forward to your next story.

Not much can be done about the Nazi style haters. They seem to view LW stories as so much morality meat for them to fly right in, buzz a few paragraphs, find the best place land and lay their eggs of hate and venom.

Even though we have never met I know that if we did happen to run across each other we would probably become friends rather quickly.

It seems that we share many of the same interests and we definitely have the same philosophy about pay back. To coin a saying from my military past, "Payback is going to be a medi-vac", (if you are lucky)!

I do enjoy reading your work and hope that you will keep writing.

As for those who make negative comments, I agree that they should exercise the ultimate censorship and go somewhere else. If they don't like my comments I can only say, "sin loi du ma! (tough sh!t mother f...ers!")!

I don't know about your other readers but look forward to each of your new stories. I have your page bookmarked so I don't miss any. I have reread several of your stories more than once. So DON'T let the assholes of the world get to you.

I couldn't agree with you more. I get myself in more trouble trying to be politically correct it make me sick. I have only one complaint, I hate to see your stories end. I've read the Trail West so many times I've almost got it memorized. I'll probably read it a few more times and enjoy it each time. I like most of your writing because it mostly deals with common sense. Something that is seriously lacking in this day and age.

I like your stories and the philosophy you use and i hope it is reflected in my scoring. I have only given you a 1* once and do not remember why. One thing I would like to know is how to find more authors like you that are non-erotic without having to try each one, there are way to stories to plow through without some guidance. Keep writing and I will keep reading.

One more thing, in a story with a lot of chapters I will vote for all but only comment at the last one. this comment took close to 15 min to write.

It was so refreshing reading your thoughts and opinions. I have been reading all your stories and I am only to the 'R's'. I plan on continuing till I get them all read. Reading your thoughts about people being "responsible for their own actions and the consequences", I shouted out at 1AM a big "YES". I have been harping on this for the last 30 years or so and have felt that it is a losing battle. (I printed this out and had my wife and kids [actually 2 grown men now] read it because they have heard it from me for years.

I also have stated in many comments on this site that I don't understand why someone would attack an author if they don't agree or like a story. As an author you can write what you like, and as a reader I can read what I like. I have started reading several authors and didn't like their stories so I stopped reading and moved. I'm not going to punish myself by reading stories that go against my paradigm or beliefs.

I appreciate the time and effort that men and women put into their stories for a FREE site. Again it was very interesting reading about you and your beliefs. It would be nice if all authors wrote something like this. Thank you for sharing.

I find it's all the do Gooders and Human Rights Activists that causes lot of the world's problems. If the minded their own business instead of sticking their noses in it would be better.

I know we have to have laws and rules but these buttheads go too far.

I find it odd that another poster commented negatively about do-gooders and human rights activists. By definition, these people are doing good for humanity and arguing that there are basic human rights for everyone. Seems to me that the complainer is the one that's exercising negativity. I don't agree with everyone, and I'm sure not everyone agrees with me, but we all have the right to have an opinion. And sometimes, not sharing an opinion is the better choice.

Thank you for your stories. I have read many of your stories and enjoyed some more than others, but I have enjoyed them all. I hope you keep writing.
