Brought me to tears. Again! 💋 Can you help me become a girl on the outside and release her completely. I'm 62 and just bought my first bra.
There are not enough words to describe how beautiful this poem is, heartfelt thanks for sharing it with us all. xx
Tears to my eyes everytime. For anyone to have such a connection, such a love, is the most important reason for living I can think of. Face to face. Heart to heart. Soul to soul. I love you Joscelyn.
...Of you. I have a young friend who's just starting the transition process and after a long talk I realized what a common thought 'I Don't Wanna Be Me' must be for the TG'd and merged it into a love poem for 'he who I think of constantly' :) Cheers! --- Josie
I loved this poem because it came straight from the heart. I can feel the passion you have for Rick and find it so wonderful that you expressed it with just the right words I hope that you two find many happy moments together.
.... in word... thought.... and emotion.
I feel as if you have given us a clear look into the beautiful soul, of a beautiful woman, totally in love.
I feel blessed to be able to know and share just a little.
Thank you for sharing this wondrous poem.

...For I knew it probably wouldn't be judged well, but then it was written with a single purpose in mind and fulfilled that purpose well ;) It was also written for our friends to find, I Don't Wanna Be Me is a common enough mantra for them. Thanks for your friendly words. Cheers! --- Josie
A sweet love poem
A nice concept on aspiration – in wanting and not wanting to be someone or something.
The repetitive rhyming works here I think (it can often be too heavy) given the nature and structure of the poem.
PS I think we can guess who Rick is on the site.
We are a two piece puzzle, never whole unless together. I love you Josie.
