Where do you personally place the blame for those faded college dreams? On the workers hired to do the job, or the owner who hired them, or the kid for not going out and getting another job?
On to poetry:
"Grass bows to sharp blades
Dreams of college fade away
In grass scented air"
I would not repeat grass.
Suggestion:
Grass bows to sharp blades
Dreams of college fade away
In foreign scented air
I'm not sure we should presume that the All American College kid was that wild about cutting grass.
Maybe there's a poem about an Unregistered Guatemalan somewhere - sounds a bit Lewis Carrollish if you repeat it a few times!

The way he felt about his job is irrelevant, I could care less if he liked his job or not. What is at issue is how he felt when his job was stolen from him by someone who has no legal right to be in this country. He willingly took his job and unwillingly lost it for the sake of the almighty dollar. When all the god jobs are outsorced, and the lower paying ones go to illegal aliens, what is left for an 'All American College Kid' if he can no longer afford to go to college??
