Great lines, but I couldn't transition to the last stanza with you because I didn't see how you got there with what preceded it.

I thought I was the only one who ever heard of that. It was in Boston, January 15, 1919. 21 people were killed and 150 injured. 2.3 million gallons of the gooey stuff rushed through the town at a speed of 35 mph.

No comment on the poem, sorry, I did not get it either. There were some good lines as mentioned before, but of what use are good lines when the sum of the parts makes no sense?
