I really loved this story. To me it wasn't about the sex, it was about the characters. You made them very three dimensional, something that I find to be rare in erotic stories. The ending was very sad, and that only made the rest of the story that much better.

One of the best vampire stories I have read in quite awhile. I really like vampire stories of this type rather than the sadistic ones. I like when the vampire can love a human and not kill them or turn them. I have read several other stories like this one where the vampire's previous human emotions appear to resurface and they leave without killing nor turning the human because they are in love with them. You are a good writer in the vampire gene as you can write an enjoyable story with an excellent plot and character development. Oh, I personally want to thank you for being in that 10-15% of writers on this site that finished their story. That is the biggest ban of this site, 85-90% rate of unfinished stories. The saddest part of it is that they are excellent to exquisite stories only if they had been finished. You have no idea how frustrating it is for a reader to really sink their teeth into an excellent story only to get shoved off a cliff by the writer who is too lazy to finish the story. There have been several stories on this site that the writer say this is the end but leaves the reader with so many unanswered questions. I am the type of reader that likes my endings

summed up without a load of unanswered questions like in a Tom Chaney or Daniel Silva novel. The ending to your story is excellent with no unanswered questions.

No comments in the last 7 years so I'll do the honor, this story was amazing! Wish we could get a part 2, it's sad they both live on pining for the other. Still it was a great read!
