Myra and I are now engaged to be married. We're still infatuated with each other.
I had just taken the day off work to catch the Blue Jays playing the Yankees again. Some minor pop star threw out the first pitch.
Dave and I grinned at each other. I'm sure we were both thinking over the last year and a half in our minds.
I raised my expensive ball park beer to Dave. We clinked our plastic cups together.
"It's good to be alive Dave."
"You can say that again Bro."
We grinned at each other and drank our beer and settled down to watch the game.
The Jays were actually ahead for most of the game. Then in the 9th inning the bases were loaded. Jeter hit a grand slam. I hate that guy.
