Also, the fact that as a woman, you feel you have the right to drop F-slurs because of "the angst if it all" is super offensive. If you don't run the risk of being called a f*g IRL, you shouldn't use it in fiction. It's like the n word. You don't see white authors dropping the most offensive word out there for dramatic purposes when the story doesn't need it.

If you're going to treat gay men like some little kink, maybe you could at least have the decency not to do it by unnecessarily offending the people you're lady-lusting over. That's not your word to use, dude.

Clearly written by a woman. Ugh, what is it with chicks being so into writing gay erotica? It's just as creepy as straight guys fetishizing lesbians. Gay men (and lesbians), by default, are not interested in you sexually. They will never be into you sexually. It's just gross and predatory.

This story was fantastic and I am going to read your others now. I agree that the sequel could be really interesting. The story of Scott admitting his feelings for Alan and coming to terms with them would be interesting. There could be some drama back at the home church as well. Sandy has a heart of gold and I don’t think Adrian put her through too much before the truth was known. Maybe she has a brother or sister who is gay and struggling to come out of the closet. It was done in such a loving manner and they were both so in love with each other before anything physical happened. I love the love letters from SA and how persistent Adrian was. I hope you’re still writing.

It was a good story but there were some rotten moments, behaviors and characters in here too. Scott was a vile, homophobic, self-hating, closeted and violent gay man. The worst of the worst. Adrian’s parents seem bad but really we don’t know how they’ll react to their own son being gay - but not holding out any hope for them. Adrian was a user who deeply, savagely hurt two people he claimed to love/care for. It was repulsive that he came to Zach, drunk, seducing him and rubbing Zach’s face with pussy juice all over his fingers!! Disrespectful and unforgivable for both Zach and Sandy!! He lied to, led on, used and humiliated Sandy. He put Zach through the wringer for weeks then seduced him and denied/ betrayed him to the point Zach didn’t care if he died. On the other hand, Zach was a decent honest guy who didn’t deserve to be mistreated by Adrian but who forgave him far too easily and quickly. Sandy is a saint whose kindness and compassion needs to be rewarded. Alan is a caring guy, a good friend but needs to have more self-respect than to be abused and disrespected by Scott. I would like to read more of what happens with these characters.

As others have said, spelling/grammar issues are a distraction; they pull us away from the plot (your/you're, posessive "s" vs. pluralization, licking vs. liking, etc.). Something to work on to make your stories flow more smoothly.

Great love story, When I was in college my best friend was a girl chasing guy. A popular jock that was so "straight" and super good looking we were friends. Then one night he came onto me I told him to stop kidding around because he was taking the joke too far. It turns out he had a crush on me for years and just could not come to terms with being a star football player and being gay. He told me that he could not take it any more and that he did not care who know. It was great because I had crush on him too. We were friends and now great loves. He waited till his senior year and football season was over. His fellow players and coaches were shocked and could not believe it. What can I tell you but he was a good actor. His parents were not happy at first but came around in a few months to accept their son and me as lovers. They already knew me for years as their son's best friend. They treated me just like one of their family and my family knew I was gay and was glad I found someone special.

Sometimes it is hard to face the fact of gay love, but Zach and Adrian were able to do that and act upon it.

I felt a bit sorry for Sandy who was "used" in a way, but she was certainly gracious and forgiving in facing this fact.

As for Scott:- What an arsehole! And how could somebody keep kicking someone when he was down? and Zach was so ashamed of himself that he did not resist.

But what a wonderful little fellow Alan proved to be.

I recognize that may be difficult given the disdain many will feel for Scott, in addition to his self hatred. However Alan seems like a kind, loving individual who deserves more from the man he obviously adores than to just be his "fuck toy". So rise to the challenge and write them a love story that rivals "Be Mine" and allows them to be happy despite the complexities of life. :)

A story like this gets so many positive comments from readers, but most of the writers on this site just don't get it: readers really enjoy a ROMANCE. Too many stories here are about soulless sex, and FAR too many are about violent sex. When we read for entertainment, we want to read something sweet and uplifting, not something that leaves us feeling as though we need a bath. Well done, sachiaiko.

a beautiful story. Just watch for spelling mistakes. I'm pretty good at ignoring them as i don't really care as long as i understand. But a couple stuck out to me. Maybe get a 3rd person to check spelling. The more eyes used, less chance something gets missed.

This story is so wonderful and sweet. I loved the characters, and I really loved the whole candy hearts thing. (Do they REALLY say "U R Cute" and stuff like that now?) I do have some issues with your misspelling of "you're" and "your." You use the wrong one in the wrong spots. The few other grammatical mistakes I can look over, though. Other than that, I loved this story, and I will be reading some of your other works.
